Inconsistent eggplant parm
I've had their eggplant parm before and it was good but last night it was terrilbe. In the past the eggplant was breaded nicely, cooked to a crisp and covered with sauce and cheese in a delicious way. Last night I was served a mushy greasy mess. I don't even know if there was eggplant in that mush. Maybe they were rushed because they were busy and/or ran out of pre-breaded cooked eggplant pieces but for whatever reason it was an insult to my intelligence and appetite to call that eggplant parmigiana. I'd rather be told that they're out of a dish than served something so below par. Please we are not dumb!

The truth about Patsy's
Their food is tasty, has fresh ingredients, but... They are overpriced. Their individual pasta dishes are very skimpy on the pasta portions, but flavors are good. Pizza has great crust time and time again, tomato sauce is flavorful and spiced appropriately. Service seems to be ok depending on what time you go, between 5-7pm your ok and service is good, after that, you will feel like your waiter is on sabbatical. I will always recommend Patsy's for good Pizza, BUT, they are not Lombardi's pizza who is still the best I had in NYC..

Delivery
Great news that Patsy's now delivers! Here's the problem though - they don't have the appropriate containers. Without fail, the lids on the pasta dishes crack, as they're made of thin clear plastic, and you end up with a puddle of sauce in a brown paper bag and a fairly dry pasta dish. It's a shame - food is so good, but don't order more than one pasta dish to go or you'll just end up with a big mess!

not so good
Pizza was not hot, not crispy (for THIN crusted?? soggy??) and not flavorful. Caesar salad was bland. Why was this place crowded??

I Am Done With Patsy's!!!
I have discovered the long and hard truth that Patsy's is just one of those eating establishments who think their cuisine is better than their patrons. Although I have experienced mediocrity in service over the past few years, I still continued to give them a considerable amount of my business. Tonight just took the cake and it was a long time coming. I decided to try something different aside from the pizza I usually order. The Fettucini Alfredo was below mediocre and they had the nerve to charge me the same price without the chicken as they would with chicken. When I brought this the the cashier's attention, she tried to justify it rather than remedy it. When I made her aware that they would lose a good patron over a few dollars, she seemed unfazed. So there it is. I will take my business to any other establishment in the area that is more appreciative of my busness. There are too many choices. I don't have to tolerate their lack or appreciation and customer service. You don't have to either. Take your appetite and busine$$ elsewhere!

Solid Food
This particular location is pretty good. The best Patsy's are the one on the UWS on Columbus and 74 and the one on 60th street and 3rd Ave. The pizza is delicious, so are the pastas and salads. This is the only restaurant where I find myself craving a salad. Their salads are super fresh and hearty. Their white pizza is mouth watering (try it with garlic as a topping, it's worth the extra $2).

Great Service....NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been to many of the Patsy's restaurants around this city, but this one is truly an experience. According to the manager, "You can't tell me what to put in my food." This was a response to his staff being unable to handle making the salad without anchovies, olives, and with the dressing on the side. I am sure you are all thinking, what "rocket science" this actually must entail. Apparently Patsy's is too "high-scale" to deviate from the extravigant menu. The manager was extremely rude and must believe that they are considered an elite dining facility.
