For some reason, I always forget how good Patsy's is until I sit down and dig in to one of their margharita pies. Excellent thin-crust, fresh pizza. The venue itself is frankly a bit discount for a "high-end" pizza place, and apart from decent salads I wouldn't venture away from ordering pizza (although I am curious to one day find out what a $10 calzone tastes like). Still, the pizza and UWS location makes Patsy's a great dinner option for those in the neighborhood. Finally, one little known fact: while Patsy's doesn't deliver for dinner they do deliver for lunch.

I love the room, especially the window tables. The food is just basic pasta and sauces. Nothing remarkable. To my taste everything is oversalted. I have been there for lunch twice and each time the screaming upper west side children spoil the atmosphere, unheeded by their yuppie mommies. Not a place to have a conversation unless you want to shout.

For a change from the pizza, I had the bolognese for lunch recently and it was absoutely amazing - one of the best I've ever had! The pasta was al dente, the meat sauce was rich and flavorful - out of this world, you have got to try it!

I love pizza and have tried it all over the city. This is one of the best places on the UWS for thin crust - fresh pizza. Very good -- pastas are tasty, too. Only downside -- no delivery.

Phenomenal authentic pizza with real fresh balls of mozerella and wonderful fresh basil leaves and spicy pepperoni, delicious zesty sauce and great thin crust, too! The arugula salad with shaved parmesan is a must. Atmosphere can be a bit noisy with families, and ordering over the phone for pick up can be tricky because some of the staff's english isn't the best, which isn't helped by the noisy background, but overall, best pizza on the UWS! If ONLY they delivered!

I have been eating at Patsy's for 5 years now, and each time I go there I feel like the service gets worse and worse. The people who work can have attitude problems, and act as though they are doing you a favor to be serving you. In addition to the service, Patsy's doesn't take credit cards. How can a busy New York City restaurant not take credit cards?

There is nothing to say about Patsy's but Terrific. If only they delivered.
