    Friendly resturant, good food!

Patsy's is a great neighborhood restaurant. I particularly like their Penne a la Vodka. It has a great variety of flavors. Their salads have terrific flavor, are fresh, and are served in large portions. Unlike what some of the other reviews have said, I think their service is efficient and friendly.

    Great food, slow service

As mentioned by numerous reviewers, the pizza is fantastic and the pasta has good days and bad days. Not the greatest value. We like the family style portions for the pastas and salads--really great for take-out. But SLOW, SLOW, SLOW service. Trust me--order in. Last comment--they used to be cash only, but have accepted credit for a year (maybe more).

    Best Pizza...skip the pasta

I've taken so many people here and they all say it's the best pizza in NYC. I agree. Sauce is incredible, everything is fresh and even the calzones rule. Tonight I ordered the pasta though and it was pretty unappetizing (flavorless, bland, too many onions, soft). the waitress said "she had heard that before" but offered no substitution or reduction, nor any warning when I ordered it and everyone else got pizza. How they could mess up pasta is beyond me but I didn't even eat more than 5 bites. STILL I can't shed a negative light on this place. Just go there for the incredible pizza and order a MASSIVE salad for the table.

    Good Pizza - Poor Service

The pizza is great because the mozzarella is fresh, not processed, and the sauce is fresh. The waiters are typically slow and hard to catch probably because they are tending too many tables at one time. The food is over priced but it's worth it because most other pizza restaraunts in the area offer generic tasting pizza. This pizza uses better ingredients for a better taste. If they could solve their service issues the place would be much more enjoyable.

    Outrageously bad service

We called to get a delivery--we'd ordered from them before--and my boyfriend was told that they don't deliver to our address. I called back, and was told that the manager had stopped delivering to our address (eleven small block away, same avenue, easily in the delivery zone)...when pressed, they admitted that they did still deliver to our address. When I asked why the guy had lied, he yelled (interrupting me), "Do you want the delivery or not?!" Huh? Why didn't they just take our order and deliver the pie in the first place. They were exceedingly, outrageously rude on the phone. The pizza's okay, but the management of this branch is terrible. In the restaurant, there are credit card stickers in the window and the front of the menu has credit card icons, and then on the second page of the menu it says, "No credit cards." Huh?? Do Lombardi's if you're in the right area.

    Best Pizza outside of heaven!

The pizza at Patsy's is the finest served outside of heaven, certainly the finest mere mortals should be allowed to consume! Expensive, and service is a little slow, but the pizza is worth the wait! The imported pepperoni is sublime!

    i love it!

Patsy's has become a regular standby for us. Its a sure thing- some of the best pizza and pasta in town. A little pricey compared to other pizza places, but its worth- very fresh ingredients and extremely tasty. We especially like the arugula sald. In house service is polite, efficient, but its a bummer they don't take credit cards.
