i went here on a sunday afternoon at 4pm when only 2 other tables were occupied. the waiter took me to a single table which was up against a wall with only one chair. there was not enough room on the tiny table for the pizza & my plate. when i asked for another table, he said they are saving them for larger parties. there were more than a dozen empty tables!!! & this was hardly the dinner rush hour. i pointed to a small table for 2 & he reluctantly led me there. the pizza had a soggy crust, & it was skimpy on cheese. also had burnt bits. so the food was middling. the music was very loud & i had to flag the busboy down to get water refills, even though the place was practically empty. in order to squeeze in as many tables as possible, they use one foot tall metal racks to put their pizzas on. they don't cut the slices through, so i had to use my knife & fork to saw through the crust. lo & behold, the whole pie slid off the rack & fell onto the floor. there was more than half the pizza left! i was dumbfounded. no one came by to apologize, & i left a very unhappy diner. when i called later to speak to the manager, he assured me they have rubber things to prevent slipping. the time i went there before this visit, the same thing almost happened, but my friend caught it on the other side. so the pizzas definitely slide around. i told him i have to write this in to warn other patrons, & he told me to go ahead. he was not helpful. i will never go here again. the place absolutely left a bad taste in my mouth. i want to warn anyone thinking of going there that their friends might end up with a dry cleaning bill!

I came here with my girlfriends and was treated rudely by the host. Even though there were about 8 tables available with no other people waiting, he insisted that we wait until our entire party was present. Note, we were only missing one person. He then asked if we would like to order before we sat down. So apparently we were allowed to order before our entire party was present, but not sit. The music was also inappropriate...I mean, bad techno music in a family style Italian restaurant?

I went here the other day with 2 of my girl friends. The pizza was great but the service was not. when the check came we asked to get change for a $20 bill. the waitress said, "maybe". I asked for a ten, a five and five singles. She came back with 4 bills of $5 each. We then asked for change for another 20 because we needed singles. again got the same $5 bills. finally we asked for the singles and got them after a 10 minute wait. The wait staff is not very competent, to the point that it made the meal, although good pizza, not worth the hassle

While my company always orders pizza from Patsy's and it is no less then great! One day I decided to have my significant other meet me for lunch and we hiked over the restaurant to enjoy some quality time together. What a complete mistake – besides the fact that the tables are literally on top of one another, the staff seemed somewhat annoyed that we only ordered a small pizza – for two (definitely order the medium it was pretty small for two people). After other wait-staff brought our drinks then the pizza (our original waiter never came back to the table to check on us offer drink refills – nothing). Even getting the check was a chore, we asked yet another waiter for the check and another waitress for change. She ended up just giving it to the original waiter who seemed to be fishing for a better tip and not in the mood to bring us change. So all-in-all, 10 minutes to order, 15 minutes to eat and 20 minutes to pay the bill… Needless to say I will never go back into the restaurant again and will look forward to the take-out every time.

This is the one place we look forward to when planning a visit to our daughter who lives in New York. The best pizza, the best food, the best value in NYC!

Pizza is good. Pasta with meat sauce is good. Calzone was not good. I had it delivered and basically it was a ricotta nightmare - imagine a ricotta filled football for $20 - way overpriced - i threw 90% of it away, and i was starving. I have had many a calzone in my day, and this does not measure up.

My family ate at Patsy's on a Sunday, the day before New Year's Eve. I understand that there are many tourists in town this time of year, but the food and service suffered terribly. I don't know if they have a different chef or manager, the food was ok, but far from the quality I expect of Patsy's. Also, we were rushed out as soon as we paid the bill. There are so many better places to eat that serve the same type of food as Patsy's. Don't waste your time eating a mediocre meal here.
