I live nearby, so I can't comment on the in house experience, although the brick ovens and dimmed lights make it look cozy. I can comment on the food I have sampled - delicious! There are some crave worthy pastas. Pappardelle Alla Toscana is my current pick. Fresh wide ribbon pasta with sun-dried tomatoes, wild mushroom, marsala wine, aged parmigiano and pecorino cheese in cream sauce. YUM. I also have ordered and can fully vouch for Linguine Fra Diavolo Ai Frutti Di Mare: Linguine with seafood (shrimp, calamari, clams and scallops) in spicy tomato sauce. DELICIOUS. And I have to say, the seafood is plentiful and fresh. The pizza, which of course they are best known for, is also excellent. Thin crust and flavorful sauce with quality toppings. Overall, I recommend this place highly for a delicious, consistently good neighborhood place. It's a little pricey, but Manhattan normal cost-wise, and the food is high quality after all. Only gripe? The rolls they send are too chewy and airy, and stale the second they cool off. How about something starchier a.k.a. more typical of a dinner role dough for these Patsy's? Surely you have pizza dough for these!
