Extremely bad service. Rude bar keep that did not even look any of our party in the face when trying to order.(There was no hostess available) Not what I expected, as I have heard of this restaurant before. Would not recommend.

The BlackJack Burger is the best you'll ever have. Always juicy and perfect. The service isn't great, but it's a bar by Grand Central, so don't put too fine a point on that. Fantastic burger, awesome fries - the perfect lunch. That's all you need to know.

Had dinner here with two friends on Nov. 24. I ordered the Cesar Salad as appetizer and Fish and Chips with a side order of peas as entree. The "Cesar" Salad arrived with tomato slices, no cheese, a completely wrong dressing, and no croutons. When I informed the waitress that I had ordered a Cesar Salad, she said, "That's how we make it!' I asked for croutons, which she brought six minutes later. My friends' appetizer, the fried calamari, was badly done. The fried batter was falling off of it, which means there is something wrong with the basic recipe. My fish and chips were adequate, though my side of peas was cold and undercooked. My friends were not entirely satisfied with their entrees. We ordered apple pie a la mode for dessert. The apple pie arrived very cold. Apparently these people don't know that when served a la mode, apple pie is supposed to be warm. We often did not have the necessary utensils, and so had to grab them from other tables. Prices are too high for what you get. Dining room is very noisy, even when not entirely filled.

I ordered lunch over the phone and came in to pick it up. Their pickup server was decent, not extremely organized though. The food was pretty good, but its hard to say it is worth the expensive price, especially when compared with other pubs in the area. The atmosphere was very nice, although I didn't stay because of work.

I ate there for the first time. Tables are close but what do you expect, it's Midtown. Also you can eat alone and not feel completely isolated. I liked the shrimp cocktail which was served the best I have seen. The burger was good too. The service is a bit nonpersonal as the crew is young and hurried. My plates were removed immediately and the wait staff does not have time to chat and smile with you. The owner or manager greets you well at the door and so that will have to do. The rest, they assume you need to eat and leave during the lunch crunch and so they try to accomodate your precious time.

The burgers are orgasmic. I have brought alot of people there and they never had any complaints. The Irish eye candy 'rrrrrr' is always a plus. Whenever I want to look at men, eat a great burger and drink a pint of my favorite beer, I go here. Erin Go Braugh!

absolutely gorgeous!!! you've never tried a burger like it with the mixture in the burger and cajun mayo over it... FABULOUS**** Food Staff Management...Couldn't say a bad word!
