Surprisingly satisfied
I though this was going to be an all flashy show with no food substance to back it up. We went there for brunch and almost everything was fantastic. Lobster bisque, eggs norweigen, salmon on scrambled eggs and the outta this world french toast were excellent. The daily special of a bread basket of the days pasteries was pretty good but there were cold and a little too old for my taste. The fruit was sub-par but thats my fault since its out of season. Excellent service and reservation had us seated within 10 minutes of arrival. Overall very pleased

Excellent!
This is a really good restaurant, meals are great! Note it's not cheap but it's worth it.

Had a good time and good food!
We had a dinner reservation and arrived early. The place was very crowded so we waited outside. We got our table pretty much on time. Being from Montreal, we found the semi-French-worded menu amusing. We thought the food was quite good. I had the Steak Frites. The meat was cooked perfectly to my liking. My wife enjoyed the Roasted Chicken Grand Mere. We found the service to be professional, timely and friendly. Great atmosphere! We would not hesitate to go back.

this place is not all that
I was there with my husband about 2 weeks ago and honestly, the food is not good. The prices are sky high. The service is average. Our bill was over $80 for 2 salads and 1 entree and 2 glasses of wine. We should have gone somewhere else and spent the same amount of money and gotten way better food. Trust me, this place is not all that, Noisy as hell too.

subpar food ridiculous prices
Had Brunch here on Columbus day. The place is mobbed, I don't know why. Onion soup, which is a staple in a French bistro was a crock of brown, sweet, hot water, inedible. Crouque Madame was a cold (should be hot) ham and cheese sandwich for $17.00. Two slices of smoked salmon benedict featured cold eggs, cold potatoes and a sprinkle of paprika, $23.00! I asked about the size and price of the roasted lobster. It was 1 1/2 lbs for believe it or not $49.00. Ridiculous! The place is full of tourists getting cheated and Mr. McNally , you should be ashamed of yourself.

and $80 later ....
We woke up with a craving for a classic English breakfast. SO after a little research we find out Pastis serves one... We head on over and decide with an $18 price tag per plate and from "Pastis" it will most likely be a good meal. We were completely mistaken, it was almost bizarrely poor. The food came out in under 10 min, which was nice, but can sometimes be a bad sign. When I say that nothing on the plate had any flavor, I mean NO FLAVOR. So bland, and Blah. Even the Bacon tasted like nothing. It was a constant dull flavor of nothing. Two English breakfasts, two cappuccinos, two OJs, and $80 later in under 30 min. It was one of the poorest breakfasts I have ever had. I will go to the diner down the street before I return to Pastis. Do better if you sell yourself so high.

No Chance
Plain and simple don't do! Over priced for diner quality food.
