Parmys Persian Fusion

I don't get it. The food was disappointing. The fish was seasoned with adobo and overcooked. The rice was overcooked and kinda mushy, the dill and fava beans seemed like an afterthought. I've eaten a lot of persian food and this was not good. The gheimeh was ok, the split peas seemed a bit undercooked, the tahdig was dry.

Fesenjan fully met my expectations, which is elaborate in cooking and the service was excellent.

They were happy to tell us the dishes The New York Times recommended. We ordered those + the veg kebab & were in heaven! Attentive staff, traditional Persian decor & immaculate bathrooms rounded out the experience.

The service was great. Very nice people, but the food was not good. I had the Bargh Kabab. It was completely tasteless, and overcooked. Anyone who makes persian Kabonb know that the meat has to marinate for at least a day. This kabob had barely been marinated and as a result was bland. The Ghormeh Sabzi was also bland.

First, Ive only had delivery and so I gave the atmosphere rating a 3 (since I haven't actually sat in the restaurant). Place looks clean and descent..nothing super cool about it, however I am sure these guys would take good personal care of customers in person. The food so far has been great! I love the Ash soup and the Gormeh Sabzi. I do hope they add more persian varieties in salads (like salad olivieh) and persian desserts, but overall good quality food and very nice owners. I haven't seen many people going in there very much, but its new to the hood and so either I don't think many people know about it or know about persian food but I am happy to recommend to everyone! I hope they stick around awhile and add online delivery!

Portions are more than generous, fresh and interestingly combined. From hummus to the Sirloin steak kabob, to the stews (I had the Vegetarian Gheymeh (sp?) ) with homemade tomato sauce base. I cant wait to get back there, order any of the huge salads ( we had Mediterranean and the non-lettuce salad)with either grilled shrimp or steak on top and have it for my next two lunches~! I slept so well . Best winter stews I could ask for! staff was so cordial and present to sing happy birthday to my boyfriend.. It was like eating at someones own home. Thank you Amir!
