    Alot to be desired

The waitress had a very bad attitude. The nerve of me to ask her to wipe the bench which contained the remains of the previous customers. After that, everything went down hill. I asked her a question and she became snippy. After I checked her, she calmed down. Food arrived and it was just as bad as the waitress, greasy and bland. I ordered the shrimp, scallops and chips. I rec'd chips and shrimp. Maybe if her attitude wasn't so bad, she could hear correctly. She apologized and I rec'd my scallops which were just as bland as the rest of the food. Bring some Old Bay with you if you order anything battered.

    Very Good But...

Loved this place, as a Brit I a always intrigued to try our 'cuisine' overseas, is you can call it cuisine. yep we have a bad reputation for food but home cooking is something else. What I don't understand is why nobody can understand the difference between a Shepherd's pie and a cottage pie. Shepherd's pie is ALWAYS made with minced lamb and cottage pie is ALWAYS with beef. Why when I come here do I find Shepherd's Pie with beef, makes no sense and there are any brits over here. Just odd!

    The real dog's bollocks

As a long term expat Brit trying this place for the first time all I can say is that the fish and chips here are the real dog's bollocks, the best this side of the pond (a few favourites in Nova Scotia not excepting).

    Excellent Sunday lunch

My friend and I stopped in for Sunday lunch a few weeks ago and it is a huge treat. While it is definitely not a health conscious menu, the food is definitely worth it!
