Tzatziki Terror
I was expecting Tzatziki (made with thick Greek yogurt, garlic, and lemon), but received some watery, white cream that tasted like spoiled mayonnaise. They should delete Tzatziki off of their menu or follow a traditional recipe. The dill pickles, which should have been crisp and bright green, were pale and mushy. The only other dissapointment was being told the waffle machine was broken when trying to order a Belgian waffle. The other food was decent diner food. The waiters are friendly and helpful. The space is cheerful enough for a quick, causual meal with friends or family.

Good for early breakfast during weekends
This is a nice local eatery, a diner-style place where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Try an early breakfast during the weekend and you'll have the place to yourself; later on it becomes crowded. They accept credit cards but there is a minimum of $20.

Great place for breakfast
Went to Park Cafe for the 1st time last Sunday and getting ready to go back today. The Sunday breakfast really hits the spot and the service is awesome.

Have to been to a real Brooklyn Diner?
Park Cafe is one of them. I'm a Brooklyn native and this is the place to get REAL diner food and the atmosphere is lovely, with absolute charm. For all you haute design gourmets or bourgeois poseurs , don't judge a diner by its modest cover. You can get a delicious meal and not spend over $11! In NY? This place rules.

The Best...
...black and white milkshake in all of Park Slope, and I've had 'em all. Also the best well-done french fries. Trust me... all who have, put on 10lbs.

The only real diner in a 6 block radius
These guys are great. Very fast and friendly. A small place, but the food it top notch diner food. Something you would expect from a larger place. I wish they would expand and stay open 24-7, I would probably move in. But I guess you can't have everything.

It's a diner...
This place is fine if what you want is standard diner food. The customers are a true mix of the area. They also have an interesting list of specials, if you are particularly hungry. Not cheap, but you could spend more down the street.
