The people!
Okay so, I don't go here enough to be a regular but I had to review about the staff of this place. I constantly walk in to be greeted by one of the biggest smiles I have seen in a long time, the hostesses are not only stunning (good job management) but the two girls who I've experienced (they could be sisters) were bubbly, friendly, and very lovely. (a+) moving on, the bartender (Jess?) also all of the above qualities. My second trip to park ave I sat down to dinner in the section of a young man who was the essence of a good waiter, for all of you future patrons, his name is Jim and he is a quality worker!! The manager came over, introduced himself , asked us about not only our meal but ourselves! You get the real sense that all of these workers really enjoy their job and it really makes for an overall awesome experience! Not to mention the food is great!

Great Spot!
Popped in for brunch a few weeks and had a great time. Crab cakes with poached eggs were amazing! As were the mimosas. Went by again for dinner during the week with a client and it was just as good. Try the chicken-- u wont be disappointed. My new go to spot in midtown

Best in the neighborhood
P.A.T. is best spot in the neighborhood for the right balance of bar scene and good upscale-casual dining. Food here is cut above pub food while prices more reasonable than mid-town power lunch spots. The after-work bar scene is very busy with the 30's corporate crowd. The staff are very friendly and asccomodating even when the place is jammed. Only complaint is the noise level can be deafening during busy happy hours. Try the back room or basement area for more space for larger groups.

Better options in the area
Went there last evening with a few friends. Sat at the bar, and can honestly say the bartender was one of the rudest I've ever experienced. Ignored us most of the night, even when we were trying to get his attention for another drink. Clearly, this is a place for regulars (or at least this bartender only paid attention to them). Not sure what the food was like, but I don't think I'll ever go back. If you're a regular, congratulations. If you're visiting or just want to have a drink around the area, I'd recommend somewhere else where they want you there.

Boo!
Went here for happy hour and there were just too many heavy-set guys in suits drinking domestic beer and holding court. The food was standard fried grub. One of the supposed owners was basically a fireman trying to be a fancy-pants. Not the worst, but not very good.

Don't Bother Stopping Here
Seriously, don't bother. The place looks great, but they need to work on the staff's attitude.

Blue collar
I went with 2 GF and we were expecting a little better crowd but felt like this was just an extension of Turtle Bay. My salad was huge and good enough but all of the finger food was a bit greasy - very sports bar tasting. Our server was sweet and the space is pretty nice but we weren't impressed overall.
