Dinner for two
Food good, but the service is dreadful and no atmosphere. We went there as our Hotel had a discount deal with the Restaurant. But no discount given. When questioned the waiter turned very nasty. Up until then the service had been poor, this was the finish. Plenty of other good places to eat, give this place a miss

Poor Choice for business luncheon
No attention from the staff from start to finish. horrendous wait to get lunch and not like it was that crowded. Once we asked a waitress walking by to check, she complied with some good surly tude and lunch came out. it was obvious it had been sitting under lights for some time. I do not think the waiter we had could think worth a darn. it was sad and i would never go back ever.

Wonderful...Wonderful
We just wonderful meal at Park Avenue Bistro last night . The Salmon was perfect and the Coq au vin was pure comfort food . It was wonderful be be able to dine and not have to shout over bar noise like in the other resturants. Don't leave with out having the Chocolate Mousse. We will be back again!

fair
Had dinner there the other night and I remember the old place across the street as much better. Appears that the kitchen staff has changed. The duck salad had very little and tough pieces of duck on very bland greens. The snapper was boring but had a nice nest of shoestring potatoes on top. My guest had the cog au vin and was so over cooked that it looked like a pile of asphalt but tasted better than it looked. Bread and wine was good though. Bread pudding for dessert was not bad . The front door kept slamming shut which was very unsettling.

Yummy!
I went to the Park Avenue Bistro with my family (I'm 11), and it was my favorite place that we ate at in NYC. They had awesome fries, and the French onion soup was amazing! Everybody there was very friendly. I'm looking forward to eating there again on my next trip to New York!

Sorely Disappointed
The "Surf and Turf" was a rip-off - being a tiny filet medallion and half of a small lobster tail plus one lobster claw. Ridiculous! My friend had the seafood risotto, took two bites and left the rest because she said it was bland and the seafood must have been frozen since it was rubbery. The service was okay but the quality of the food (especially at those prices) is unforgivable.
