Annoying, pounding background "music"
This was our second and last visit to Park Avenue. Does the management really think the loud, meaningless, incessant, pounding bass that requires everyone to talk loudly, adds to patrons' dining experience? My friends and I go to restaurants for good food and to enjoy good conversation, not for the music someone chose for us to hear. Listening to that bass ruined what should have been a good experience.

Seasons
While the restaurant's website continues to advertise that it's Park Avenue Summer and the summer menu (and it is listed on opentable as Park Avenue Summer), upon arrival we learned that they already switched over the menu and scenery to Autumn. While we have enjoyed our meals there in the past, we had a drink at the bar and left -- we had been looking forward to trying the summer menu and given that they attract customers with the changing seasonal themes, we were somewhat bothered by the fact that they hadn't updated their press.

Comfortable, civilized and scrumptous
In a world of 'what's the next hot place,' this restaurant may not rank; but the food if fabulous, the setting comfortable and chic, the service attentive and welcoming and the brunch price a bargain considering the quantity and quality of the food.

welcome to upper east side
Brunch on the last day of winter menu. Modern, spacious, airy but commfortable and approachable atmosphere. Not too crowded on Sunday morning. Diners or should I say brunchers were very very upper east side but OK. Service was almost excellent. The food was delicious, well prepared and presented. The pastries were excellent. Salmon was fresh, odorless and very tasteful. Filet mignon was made to meet almost any standards. Overall not a disappointing experience by any means, though not affordable as a regular habit.

Wonderful
Went to park ave winter for the first time before a broadway show and had an excellent meal - veal chop is one of the best in the city. Waiter was very courteous and professional - we look forward to going back in the spring
