Paris Sandwich, will you marry me?
#5 grilled pork bahn mi is probably my favorite, but the other ones are all great as well. So are the green tea waffles, the pork in puff pastry, the grilled chicken/pork over rice, and the pork summer rolls here are cheaper and tastier then many of the restaurants in the area. If you don't see what you want out, they will make it for you to order. The service can be brusque if it is busy, but I find that part of the efficiency of the place. After you go there for a while they will remember you and are very friendly, which doesn't happen at every business in this neighborhood.

the vietnamese iced coffee is EXCELLENT! The sandwiches are pretty good too. they use very fresh ingredients. the order takers are pretty rude. but its probably because im chinese. but you should really try the food its good.

No frills okay sandwich
I got the bbq pork sandwich, which is much different than the ones served at Sau Voi. The meat is bright red, which made it look raw, but it wasn't. The bread was not good at all. I can't believe that this is fresh bread. It was like weeks old bread that was toasted. Crumbled like a cracker. Sandwich was okay.

Great for Veggies & Non Veggies
I've walked by this place for 3 years and never stopped in. I finally went one cold night with my boyfriend and we're both so glad we did. He had the Vietnamese Meat Ball Baguette & I had the Vegetarian Chicken Baguette. Both were out of control delicious from fresh hot n crusty bread (and it was the end of the night!) to the fresh crisp veggies, the sandwich was finger lickin from start to finish. I reluctantly took home their cream puffs (not a big fan) and was surprised at how light and tasty they were...more cheesy less sugary sweet. Perfect for a unique meal on a tight budget.

just a small sandwich shop
i find that most of these sandwiches can be purchased at any vietnamese restaurant and for cheaper, more fillings. paris sandiwch is good but its just a sandwich shop with nothing really unique about it. if you just want a place to sit and quicky grab a sandwich then by all means this is the place to do it. theyre pretty quick making it so no real need to wait. but if you want to have nice seating, that is not possible

Great food
The sandwiches are great and authentic - some of the best I have had in New York. The grilled pork baguette is especially amazing. And it's all cheap too!

Good.. but better yet authentic
this place is great because they freshly bake their own baguettes and their sandwiches are authentic Vietnamese... A lot of the Vietnamese restaurants here in New York are actually owned by Chinese people and you can tell the difference in the quality and authenticity, I can tell bc I am Vietnamese and I grew up eathing this stuff.... These sandwiches are as real and good as it gets!
