Great Bar for drinks and apps

This is a great bar if your looking to watch sports. Have a few drinks (Tuli) and maybe an app. or 2. Bartenders are great and friendly. The waitress are very nice as well. If your looking to meet a mate this is not the place for you.

Bad service, somewhat good food, decent prices, bad atmosphere

It's got a large bar area, with an adjoining dining area. The bar is definitely not classy. It's got an arcade game in the corner and a bunch of TVs with sports on. The whole place (walls, tables, floor) is made of old, pot-marked wood. Portions here are generous. And the food is pretty good (been here a few times). You'll be full But the service is consistently quite bad. Either they don't seat us in a nice area (when the whole place is empty), or the food takes forever, or they start rushing us out. I don't know why. The food always is a mix between an upscale diner and "bar food", which is fine if that's what you're into. Maybe it's the bar that gives it that feel.

    Great service

My bestest friend and I stopped in just for a cup of coffee and ended up staying for over three hours. We made great friends with the bar tender, Bobby T and had an overall great time.

    Yoo talkin to me..

So many cool nights...the staff are great (Kate?)..and so are the beers. Proper bar, where you sit and make friends...and if in alone there are always the video games...who is MT though and why does she have a seat with her name on it..? ps remark about the fish market is ridiculous..it has been closed for 10 months and this is becoming the cool part of town!

    Authentically Amazing...

The best burgers in the city - coupled with fabulous bartenders who make sure your glass or your attention is never empty... juke box, video things to play, multiple screens... and did I mention the best burgers ever. The only thing I would change would be the bathroom. Not fun to go all the way down and squeeze into the stalls. WE LOVE PARIS... especially now that the fish market is closed. No more fishy smell...

    Great Place

When we lived in NYC Area you could find us almost every Sunday at the Paris Cafe. We do your best to return every three months and always make a point to stop for lunch or dinner. We have been going there since the early 90s.

    Paris - good pub food

Paris cafe has a solid menu and is good pub food. Service is always friendly when I go. Since the fish market moved about a year ago the South Street Sea Port no longer has that fishy smell, people used to complain about.
