Slow and inattentive service (one guy actually turned around and walked away when I was mid-sentence asking for someting), cold coffee (never offered warmups), cold food, super crowded (as in, getting up to go to the bathroom is a huge production), and ultimately the owner or manager or whoever he was rudely told us "you have five minutes - people are waiting" - approx 5 mins after they brought us our bill. Seriously - stay away.

went on a slow night, it was maybe 20 other folks in the place. sat in the back. everything we ordered was great. waiter was knowledgeable and accommodating (one in our group was a vegan and they fully accommodated that). i had the steak, wife - chicken (she loved it), other folks had the duck, and i don't remember what else but everyone raved about their food. wine was excellent too. hostess was great (we didn't have a reservation and she greeted us like we were family)... i think the decor could be improved in the back of the restaurant (that's where we were). overall great experience. we will be back for sure.

Got here with 2 of my girlfriends after shopping in the area. We had no expectation at all. We got our table in the front, just next to the exit. Our server was on top!, we got that 5 foie gras he recommended and we enjoyed every single one on that plate. Then I got the fish of the day, a perfectly cooked skatefish, and my girlfriend got the duck (yuuuuuum) and the soft shell crab over fried watermelon! (what a creation by the chef , orgasmic!) ... I will definitely be back!

First time i ever felt compelled to write a review. went there last night, left feeling hoaxed. food was crap, super expensive and service was slow. sat outside in the "garden" or "jardin" and kept getting run into by waitstaff running baack and forth. never again. dont go here.

when we got there the waitress told us they were almost out of champagne, before we could even place our order. She told us people that arrived earlier have been drinking a ton. Ok, that's understandable but we had a reservation for 7 people and it was only 4 of us- stocking up on champagne is not my job. They ran out of bread or something and my friend couldn't get the brunch she wanted. The waitress didn't even tell us that until she brought everyone elses food. We tried to buy a bottle of champagne and they came back and told us it was not cold. Seriously do they know what ice is? Every single aspect of our meal was an issue and they ended up letting us have the unltd champagne with brunch. such a mess.

do yourself a favor- do not get excited about this place. they are deceitful, rude, and couldn't care less about their customers.

We recently went to Paradou for a friend's birthday. The service was exceptionally slow - we waited a full hour between the salads and our entrees. Once the entrees arrived, one guys steak came out completely cold and overcooked. Thinking it would be no big deal to send it back, he called our waiter over and told him. The waiter took it back to the chef, and the chef said there was absolutely nothing wrong with the steak and he refused to make my friend a new one. REFUSED. i mean refused. he said either pick something off the menu that he doesn't have to cook or don't eat, because he will not cook something else for him. Our waiter didn't even apologize and said the chef is "very tempermental" and he can't do anything to help us. With so many restaurants in the city what makes them think they can get away with that?
