If you're looking for good food I would definitely recommend this place... just make sure you order take out. The service really lets the place down. You queue for ages, the staff are vacant (when not absent) and once you do get to order they bring you the wrong thing... Lucky for them the food is good enough to cover up their mistakes. If you have enough time to hang around for the staff then you should make the trip. If you want to eat within an hour (and actually eat what you ordered) I would go elsewhere.

This place has got some really good fair trade coffee and yummy baked goods. I'm in to vegan stuff and I really like their choices of vegan muffins. My boyfriend and I hang out here all the time and we always love the friendly faces behind the counter. The staff is fun and efficient and play good music. If you haven't been to this place....go..you won't regret it!

I am lucky to both work and live just up the block from my favorite little cafe in the city. They have been here forever providing me with first rate coffee, breakfast and lunch. I have turned on so many of my co workers at Google and they are all really grateful for my recommendation. Killer egg sandwiches, huge selections of excellent sandwiches.

This place is my regular cafe for weekend coffee, bagels and sandwiches. I dont sample a lot of the other menu. What I love about this place is the service and those who work there. The atmosphere feels like a cafe in Vermont or Jackson, Wyoming. The girls who work there are all tremendously sweet, fun and really friendly. They do it right. I dont think they ever mess up an order. Often times when you are sitting down, they will bring your stuff to your table. They are smiling, chipper, friendly and appreciative of when customers say thanks. So, I only know the weekend staffbut they are wonderful

Just wanted to to give praise to our favorite local coffee house. Paradise caters to our company and always gets the orders correct. There food is always fresh and always satisfying. Wide variety of fresh baked goods, smoothies(yum), killer breakfast and lunch sandwiches, salads, soups, pizza, quiche (we have tried them all!) The best chili you have ever tried! Fresh soups change daily. Wonderful coffee (fair trade & organic) Really friendly staff will treat you right.

Paradise Cafe has to be one of my favorite cafes in New York. Not only is the food amazing (I recommend sandwich #22), but the people who work there are very friendly. They are always playing good music, and everyone in there always seems to be having a good time. When ordering, just make sure that you are very specific about what you want. For example, when ordering a sandwich, make sure you tell them if you want a specific type of bread (they are all on display in the back). They are usually very good about giving the customer what they want. I have been going there almost everyday for the past four years and I haven't been disappointed yet.

I've always been a fan of their food since my office was moved to the neighborhood a year ago. It's got a nice atmosphere, only then you realize that if they would stop dancing while taking your order maybe they'll for once get it right. I literally hadn't been back for 3 months until today because they always screw up, and sure enough they screwed up again. I am officially never going back there again. It's the kind of place where you don't even have the remotest desire to complain because they'd probably go out of their way to make it worse the next time. Too bad a promising place messes up time and time again, but I know so many other co-workers who feel the same, and their business must be suffering. As if not to really beat the point home, a couple co-workers of mine were standing there when I entered and standing there when I left because their order was completely forgotten. That was over 10 minutes later. I ordered an oven pressed sandwich and couldn't believe that people who ordered before me would still be standing there. Oh, and my oven pressed sandwich wasn't oven pressed! Why it takes them so long to get things wrong is ridiculous. The neighborhood options don't replicate the food offerings of Paradise, but it's still not worth it. Enough already Paradise, so long.
