Southern Californians Are Hard to Please
Being from SoCal is truly a curse when it comes to finding decent mexican. I decided to give this place a try and ordered sort of a sampler on the menu. First dissapoointment was no carne asada only ground beef. I stuck to chicken tacos and a quesadilla instead. Okay so the hard taco shells were store bought, but the chicken was shredded, seasoned, and delicious. The quesadilla was quite excellent and the pico di gallo was fresh. The pinto beans had too much pepper and were soaked in some weird sauce and the rice was below average. Don't get me started on the salsa/hot sauce which was like ketchup with Tabasco. However, this place did cure my craving for Mexican. I would not call it the best, even for New York. But if you are in the mood for Mexican and want cheap fast delivery this place should satisfy.

Nice for the Price...
Before you go, know that the menu printed on this page is the take-away menu. If you want to sit down, you will pay a few dollars more per entree. This place was decent - the outdoor seating area is pleasant and the service is quick. I had a vegetarian burrito and, while I wouldn't say it was the best burrito I've ever had, it was pretty good and it was filling. Great guacamole, however!

Almost real Mexican!
Best Mexican we've found so far in NYC after living for years in Southern California. We're spoiled on hand-made giant burritos for $1 there, so we're tough on this city's crappy Mexican places. Paquitos would be nothing special in LA, but here it's quite good. Try a dish that's not on the menu - chicken with tomatillos and pumpkin seeds. Yummy!

Pretty good, inexpensive Mexican
A group of 4 of us ate at Paquito's on a Sunday night. We snagged a nice big table on the outdoor patio. The food was pretty good, and definitely cheap. The service was pretty poor, however. It took them about 25 minutes to get our drinks out, guacamole appetizer came after the main course was served. While the waitstaff was extremely pleasant, it just seemed disorganized. In spite of the service, I will go back for the great patio and strong margaritas!

Awesome Mexican Food!
Great place to go, especially in the summer. There's an outdoor garden, and the margaritas are yummy and strong! Chips and guac are addictive while you're waiting for their filling, delicious, inexpensive burritos/quesadillas/etc. The atmosphere isn't Le Circ, but who cares when you can get drinks and dinner for 2 for under $40? By the way, as others have said, delivery is ridiculously fast. Paquitos is the best Mexican place in the neighborhood, hands down!

Real Mexican Food
What a treat! Real soft tortillas with great Guacamole. Love the Tacos and Quesadillas. We had the fastest delivery and of course our own atmosphere...

Spectacular Food
I have gone over the entire Village area looking for the best Mexican food since I moved to NYC. This is the best and most authentic stuff that I have tasted. Very great stuff.
