Love this place
Have picked-up food and have had it delivered - both times had great service and really enjoyed the food. The restaurant is way cuter/nicer than most hole-in-the-wall places. The burritos come in some of the best tortillas I've ever had (and I'm from Texas so I know good mexican/tex-mex!). Chorizo is great so was the special I had last time. Also just indulged in some flan. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

Best take out Mexican in Murray Hill
Mexican food made by Mexicans. Huge portions and made to order. The asada burritos are fantastic. If you go by during lunch you'll see actual Mexican customers eating there so it must e better than the other places around.

Good cheap food, poor delivery
How to kill off a location, 101. Have a customer order food at 8:05pm, deliver it cold at 9:15pm, and the distance is a mere 1.5 street blocks away. Would have been OK if I had known up front that the wait time was 1hr plus, then I could have made an informed decision. And if the food had been hot. When the customer calls at 8:50pm asking where the food is, and the manager says out for delivery, it damn sure better be. When the customer calls back at 9:05pm, don't lie again and say the food is just about there. When you call the customer at 9:12pm, first to ask if they got their delivery - and when told no - don't offer the information that the food is still sitting in the restaurant, and will be delivered shortly. Cold food that is supposed to be hot is not how to keep a customer.

great food, great prices, nice staff
I really enjoy the Asada burrito. The prices are good for what you get, and the staff is cordial. They have a few tables if you want to sit down with friends. Nicer atmosphere than typical cheap take-out mexican joint.

Insert burrito in yer face and enjoy...
I never post to these things, but I felt compelled after having fallen in love with this place. I'm new to the area (and NYC), but have already exhausted most of the "cheap eats" places in my neighborhood. Paquito's is by far my favorite place to grab dinner when the fiance and I aren't cooking or dining out. Just top notch on all fronts. I've called for at least one burrito per week for the last couple months, and have never had a problem. The girl who usually takes my order is always friendly - when I give her my number, she always says, "Oh hi, Will." I know she has it on file, but still... I always order the chicken asada burrito, sans beans with a side of sour cream (comes with it inside, but I like a little extra). Usually eat it with a fork because it's so huge, and am always stuffed afterwards. My special lady loves the fajitas. Delivery has always been prompt. I hope I don't eat my words, because I ordered about 10 minutes ago as I write this. Usually takes 30 minutes or less (I'm 6 blocks north). Stopped by to pick up once, and would have happily eaten there, too. And my absolute favorite - their awning proudly says, "Paquitos: We Delivery." Awesome.

Good food; one of the best deals in town
Lexii, I don't normally post reviews at MenuPages, but I decided to do so after seeing your post below. I was very impressed by your responding in a very friendly way to the complaints posted here and your showing how you have taken steps to address the problems mentioned where necessary. The food at Paquito's is excellent and an amazing deal. I ordered the steak fajitas with rice/beans with an order of chips and salsa tonight. My order came promptly as it always has from Paquito's. The entire meal, which was more than enough food, was $10 (plus my tip). That is an amazing deal. The steak and grilled vegetables in my fajitas are always very good quality. The rice and beans are excellent, and the chips are crunchy and not greasy. The salsa is good, but being from Texas, I am probably most critical in this area. If I had one recommendation, I would say to try adding more tomato and make it a little spicier from what it is now. Anyway, Paquito's is awesome. Keep up the great work.

Hello my beautiful customers
Hello everyone! Thank you everyone for all those honest reviews about our rest. My parents are the owners of paquitos and we all really appreciate your comments. For the people who have commented about our cashiers: we do understand that this has been a problem and we have fired some our cashiers. We have also hired new ones. =) For the peson who said their delivery took an hour: WOW that is a long time and we a very sorry for having you wait so much for your food. We usually dont let the customer wait that long. Most likely you got us on a very busy day. For people commenting on the salsa: We have gotten some new spices from Mexico just recently so be sure to try it. Once again thank you so much for all your reviews. Have a nice day. P.S. --I am also now working here only on sat. from 10-5pm. feel free to visit. =]
