Delivery not recommended
I would normally never leave a review, but I do read them for insight. This restuarant is not recommended for delivery: 1) tell me its 30 mins and its takes an hour+ on a Monday night; 2) messes up the food order (twice); and 3) does nothing to make it right after they were wrong. Not bashing the restaurant, but i do not recommend ordering delivery from here.

Bad bar
If you're going for a nice dinner and drinks, skip the drinks at this place. My girlfriend and I ordered drinks from the bar while waiting for the table, badly made and over-priced. The food was fine, but not memorable. At least, for those interested in such things, they offer the option of whole wheat pasta. The tables were not quite as crowded as in near-by Italian restaurants etc. All in all, a decent restaurant, okay food and service, but small wine selection and limited bar goodies.

Nice Charm
Great place to enjoy a meal on a patio. Food is good, service is average. Enjoy a over-priced glass of Sangiovese and just relax and people-watch as you enjoy a tasty meal.

Nice neighborhood place.
I have been to Pappardella numerous times and have always had a good dining experience. I have had fish on a few occasions, and my boyfriend has had steak, and we always wish that we had just ordered the pasta. The pasta is delicious and the best value on the menu. The other options (fish, meat, etc) are decent, but overpriced for the quality. It's always crowded, so reserve a table or expect a wait. Enjoy!

Nice From the Outside
A friend and I went here the other night after a show. The place was cute and had nice, friendly decor. The food started out OK with an excellent cucumber soup. The main entrees were poor, though. My Gnocchi was swimming in tomato sauce. I had to wade through the sauce to find a piece. After asking my friend how he preferred his Veal (who asks that?) he was brought a piece of meat with a lot of fat. Whether it was even Veal, is questionable. The service was also lame. They never asked us how we were. This restaurant is geared towards tourists who do not know much about food or will only be stopping by once.

They make you feel like family
We have been visiting this UWS gem religiously for the last 2 years and have always left smiling. They treat us like family and when I look around I see that that is how they treat everyone...which is rare things these days. On top of it all the menu is was plenty of depth and the food never dissappoints. Go for the food and stay for the service...

Awesome!
This is a fabulous place...everyone loved their food, the service was great, fairly roomy dining room for new york. I will most definitely be back many times!
