Unbelievable
Let me preface I've been to this restaurant several times before without incident. Tonight was atrocious. Two people in my party had Gilt City voucher and it took 20 minutes for them to find that menu. But in that time the waitress never came over to explain what was going on we had to ask her. Then one of salads was wrong and had to be sent back. Then it took almost a half hour to bring our entrees. The people at the next table who came in while we were eating our apps, got their food and was leaving before our entrees arrived and when they did they were cold. Our waitress was so inattentive we had to hunt her down to complain and ask for the manager. The manager did apologize and comped our meal but the waitress barely apologized muchless acknowledged anything was wrong. I'm never going back here again.

Careless Service, Mediocre Food
My first visit: Food arrived cold; waitress was distracted and not around most of the time. They have a gluten-free menu, but the overall ambience of the place and careless service leads me to doubt it can be trusted. Noisy as well.

Careless, loud, and slow
A meal at these prices for a special occasion should absolutely be relaxed and pleasant. Oh no. The silverware was haphazardly thumped onto the table. Waiters appeared to know not the first thing about decorum. We were asked for our orders even though several of us were still obviously reading menus and wine lists. Instead of waiting until all diners had finished a course, waiters rushed in to clear dishes as each individual finished. There was a feeling of confusion, disruption, and hurry even though we waited and waited for each course to be served. During a waiter's long reach, more than once I had an arm pit positioned in my face. In spite of the warmth and rising humidity of the late day, there was no air conditioning. The food was salty but otherwise bland. The whole wheat linguini was white spaghetti. The white asparagus was green. Basta.

Like dinner at your aunt's house.
Friendly staff, good food, relaxed atmosphere, quiet you can carry on a conversation where tables are not on top of each other. I've been treated like family for years.

Going downhill
I used to love papardella, but they have gone down significantly. For instance, I ordered gluten free pasta and they sent me Gluten pasta of a completely different type. I was so upset because I had waited over an hour for delivery. Then the woman actually had the nerve to tell me that they don't serve gluten free pappardella or something crazy because the receipt said gluten free all over it and it was completely different type of sauce from the order anyway. Do no go there if you are gluten sensitive. Seriously, I know someone else who got gluten pizza from them. They need new management and better staff.

Good tasting food, small portions, very pricey!
The food was good but hopefully on our next trip we can catch a prix fixe. Their pizza (our appetizer) was the highlght as thier entrees were extremely small portioned... especiially for the price.. We would eat there again, lets hope by then thier menu includes entrees with bigger portions

unhappy experience
Went for a nice evening out and ended up at this restaurant where we have been before but this time we had a very unhappy experience. After ordering a Rosso di Montalcino the waitress came with a different wine and claimed that this what we ordered. When we asked to see the wine list again the bartender interfered and told us that it was a misprint in the menu - his exact words : "did we really think that we would get that wine for $45". They were not apologetic at all and I just wonder how many people are being screwed every day at that place with that attitude of theirs. This was definitely the last time I put my foot in this restaurant.
