    Love the Tacos

The chips and fish tacos are awesome, the service sucks because they don't have enough staff.

    lovely punk rock tacos

this place is perfect. the food is cheap and good, and they have lots of vegetarian options! do yourself a favor, go and enjoy the backyard!

    Maldito Papacito! (Wretched Papacito)

First they need to get their chalkboard fixed! One side says wait for a waiter to be seated, the other side says seat yourself! So WHICH IS IT?! Second, The food is absolutely BLAND! My beau and I ordered the chorizo, mexican spiced beef and the verde pork tacos and the meat was as plain as the tortilla! The "mexican spice" beef tasted like unseasoned hamburger meat that was not drained thus it was greasy on the tortilla. I don't see the appeal. Taco trucks serve better food! The only good thing was my canned cola. Such a shame a nice backyard belongs to a subpar restaurant. Drain and season your meat and you'll be better! I'll stick to the trucks for now.

    High-quality quick Mexican eats

For delivery joints, this is the first place in Greenpoint I've eaten from that was not poor quality - it was actually super tasty! Big portions, quick delivery, and good quality.

    It's no Alcapulco

The burrito is absolutely huge! I got three meals out of one. However, it's mostly bland rice. I got it w/ enchilada sauce, which it def needed. The sauce was really good, it was a basic tomato base and had cinnamon in it, which I really liked. What I didn't like was all the black olives all over it. Plus, there was huge, fibrous pieces of the tomato skin in the sauce, which wasn't pleasent. But, it is open late! And as of now, it's B.Y.O.B.

    This place is a godsend!

I've been going here at least twice a month since the middle of summer. The food is great, and there are a lot of different filling options - even for vegetarians. The guac is always fresh. The Tecates are huge, and the sangria tastes amazing. The staff is super-friendly. I imagine the few complaints are from people that were kicking off serious attitude. I hope this restaurant stays forever. Also, they have a breakfast menu until 4pm every day that rocks my world.

    Meh

The food isn't bad bad...but it also is not great. The service however - is downright AWFUL. slow, snotty, rushed. the space is too crowded and just not appealing. prices are cheapish but...overall not worth it. I will say that the outdoor area is nice for a spot to hang out - I was there in the summer and enjoyed it. Still - if your mission id to eat a good meal, you money is better spent elsewhere.
