A real find!
This restaurant might be easy to overlook in the sea of East Village bistros, but it is well worth stopping in. It's a fun place to meet friends for a drink, but since the food is delicious, stay for dinner.Bring the family for weekend brunch too. The bar is buzzy and friendly. My best friend had her engagement party there and loved the attentive service and attractive decor. I totally recommend it!

Wonderful neighborhood find.
Discovered this place several years ago and always pick it to meet a friend for lunch. A good place to go for an early dinner as well. When the time came to plan a birthday party they could not have been more accommodating. Staff, service, food and price were all great!!

wonderful night!
I just went here a few nights ago and it was the perfect little restaurant. great food, nice atmosphere, delicious wine...couldnt have asked for any better. We were a family of four, some very picky eaters, and each of us loved our dinners. dessert was good too. definitely would go back!

I will NOT go back
Once your eyes adjust to the extremely low lighting, you realize the place has seen better days. Then, the food arrives. I could go on endlessly describing how bad it is but will focus on the garlic mashed potatoes which cost a whopping SEVEN dollars as a side dish. They were cold, and the garlic was completely raw which caused the worst case of indigestion I have ever had at that price. They should serve complimentery Pepto Bismol after every meal but my advice is to go somewhere else. I work too hard for my money.

Sub-par food and service
Went there on a Tuesday around 5. There were 2 other tables there yet it still took them 10 minutes for the waiter to greet us. The orders were wrong and the food came out luke warm. My friend got fish, and for 25 dollars, the piece of fish was small enough to satisfy a small child.

I read reviews
We read reviews before going. Sweetooth, do you know what Pangea is? the meaning of the word? It was wonderful its a fantastic mix which is the idea of pangea is pretty much a give away unless you have no idea what the word means. I would suggeat this this place to anyone i know. The waitstaff not stuck up very friendly and honest, food of a wide range and taste that is wonderful.

great place for a date!
if your going on a date this is a great place! nice atmosphere and the food was cheap! if your a big eater, this place may not be right but if your looking for a portion equal to its price then this is the place. cheap food, great food, and perfect choice if you plan on getting dessert after!
