Takeout is wonderful
Haven't eaten in the establishment but have ordered takeout several times. Have loved it every time. The portions are not huge (remember its small plates), but the food is fantastic: always fresh, authentic and delicious. Service on the phone is always polite and professional (other Tribeca eateries take notes...). One of these days i'll get around to eating there.

Great Food & Charming Interior
Read about this place on Grub Street and hadn't found the time to go until last week. Showed up around 8pm on Thursday, no reservation and we had a drink at the bar and were seated in 10 minutes. We LOVED the artichokes and rice balls and then shared two pastas. Wow, the food was so great and we easily went through two bottles of red wine. The host really made good wine recommendations which is always appreciated. If you haven't been there - go! I have traveled to Italy many times and this place gets it right!

Excellent find in Tribeca!
I stumbled upon this restaurant after theater in Tribeca, and was pleasantly surprised by the excellent small plates, old world atmosphere and great service by the friendly, attentive and attractive staff. Interestings twists on traditional Italian foods. Good selection of wines and beers. The eggplant is outstanding, and desserts are a must!
