Loyal No More
I guess I'm a creature of habit. I use to order from this place when they were on Second Ave, and before that from their downtown location (if its still there). What drew me in originally was their Vietnamese dishes, which were exquisite. As those dishes disappeared from the menu, I replaced them with more standard fare--pepper steak, sesame chicken, etc; I've tried them all. Although they started off OK as far as taste, over the years I've noticed the quality going down--cheap meat, rubbery chicken, smaller portions, higher prices. As far as the service, same thing, it use to be great, very friendly, helpful, accommodating--but that's gone down too. Still, I stuck with them, spending I don't how many thousands and thousands of dollars over the years. Then one day I ordered online and when I went to get my order there was no free soda. When I asked, they said, 'sorry Barry, no free soda when you order online'. The soda is just a dollar. Its no big deal, either for them or me. But it just seemed to ruin the experience. So I started going to Lili's, which is just around the corner on Third & 85th. The food is exquisite, the service great. And ironically it reminds me of Pan Asia, when I first started going there those many years ago

Food not great
I've tried this place three times, hoping it was just that I picked the wrong dish, but the food just wasn't very good. The chicken was rubbery in the chicken and broccoli, the food is often cold when it arrives, the shrimp wasn't deveined, and the sauces are overdone and not tasty. I really want to like this place, the service is good, but the food doesn't do it for me.

impressed
The Chinese style chicken curry was fantastic. Instead of just onions there was a colorful mix of Japanese eggplant, string beans, yellow bell pepper and red onion. Wasn't ruined with too much sauce like some places and even came with a small Malaysian style roti. Like that they have some menu items which specify all white meat chicken as some of my friends refuse to return to places that use dark meat. Very disappointed that the condiment chilies on the table were standard jalapenos and not the Thai chilies I was expecting. Almost like a bait and switch to a chili head like me. Fortunately the other container was Siracha sauce.

Lunchtime
A) Please get my order right...for a change B) Keep the order the same size every time....sometimes it's a regular size order and sometimes 1/2 the size C) Accept credit cards for lunch orders. I should not HAVE to buy anything extra...that I don't want...just to use my credit card!

String beans of my dreams <3
I've only had excellent experiences both ordering and dining in at Pan Asian. Delivery is always super fast, service at the restaurant is always quick and friendly. The food consistently tastes fresh and delicious and is very reasonably priced. I highly recommend the Ga Nuong Sate, Pho Bo, Bun noodles, Pad Thai, and the sauteed String Beans (SO good!)

Stop! Keep clicking on by
Ordered delivery through seamless web. Shumai, dumplings, pork ribs, curry shrimp soup and sushi (one hand roll, one special roll and 4 pieces sashimi). The restaurant called twice and lady was extremely difficult to understand. They were out of striped bass. Then they had to charge me $2 extra dollars for clear noodles for the soup. Delivery came and the total on seamless web was $62 but the receipt from the restaurant read as $72 dollars. Let's see what I am actually charged. THE SUSHI WAS INEDIBLE! Do not try it. Not fresh, kind of milky and tough. Bad experience all around.
