Unprofessional staff and overly sweet food
I ordered delivery sand was disappointed. The person taking my order barely spoke English and I had to repeat myself over and over to get her to understand the address. The delivery guy showed up without any change (so unprofessional!) The food was overly sweet - good thai food is supposed to be a balance of sweet/spicy/sour/salty. This was ONLY sweet, like a pound of sugar went into my noodles. ugh. I will never ever eat here again especially with so many other good thai places nearby.

My Favorite Thai Place
My friends and I come to Pam's almost once a week (or more!). It is my favorite Thai restaurant in the city. The food is always excellent (try the pineapple fried rice with seafood or the barbecue pork appetizer, the house noodle soup, the pad kee mao, pad see eil, the squid salad, larb na with beef, papaya salad...I could go on!) and inexpensive. We often come in a large, boisterous group and the waitstaff is always gracious and tolerant. They never make us feel like we have to leave. (Of course, we always tip well, too, which helps, I'm sure. :). I love Pam's!

poor management
Food here was okay- there are definitely better Thai restaurants in the area. My boyfriend ordered a beer and it had gone bad- we both tasted it, it was not drinkable. The manager refused to take it back and we had to pay for it. I've never heard of a manager doing that. We will definitely not be going back.

Amazing
This place is so good. The food is very cheap and its probably the best Thai I have ever had. I have been here probably 10 times and always enjoy it. The food can be made very spicy so watch out. Everyone I go with always loves it and the service is great. Definitely some place you should check out.

When they say spicy, they mean it!
I went here last week before a show and it was great. I ordered a dish that I cannot remember the name of. The menu said that it is a dish unique to Southern Thailand and that it is VERY spicy. I enjoy spicy food and gave it a try. DAMN, they were not kidding! It kicked my butt! So when they say spicy, they mean it! I would have liked the dish a bit more, but it had that Tom Yum Kum (sp?) flavoring in addition to the hot & spicy. I love Thai food, but not a fan of that soup. Perhaps it's the Lemongrass? I'm not sure. I would definitely go back and would try other dishes. My theater friend had Pad See Eil and it was very good and we shared a papaya salad and Thai dumplings which were both great and the dumplings were some of the best I've ever had. This is some real, no joke Thai!!

Attitude
I liked the food the first time but then on my second visit the same entree was too spicy. I usually eat very spicy food so this was painful spicy. When I complained the server came back and said.." Oh the chef said we're using different chillies and this batch is a little spicier. She refused to take it back and never offered to fix what was really their fault. I'm not going back because I'm not sure what to expect next time and I like to be treated well when I'm paying them to cook for me.
