What's with all the poor reviews?
This place is wonderful. First off- the waitress is the nicest- she does not need a new career. Whoever wrote that should take a minute and think about being a nicer human being. The place is small and cozy. It's the ambiance of this place thats make me enjoy going (and I live around corner and I like the margaritas) The food is standard Mexican- it's good and I always enjoy it- it's not fancy nor high end. Its affordable and comparable to other places. The reviews that complained about portions- maybe you should just eat less.

Not recommended
I ordered tacos and no sauce was included. The pork was so dry and bland that I couldn't even finish my order.

It actually gives Mexican food a bad name
Avoid like the plague. This place is a Complete and total Rip Off job. They deliver your " food" in tiny little trays that are proportioned poorly. For example when you order enchiladas the largest part of the tray (which is tiny already is crammed with the enchiladas) so that means they have absolutely No Space inside the enchiladas for any food. I kid you not! There is just 3 or 4 "tiny" pieces of TOTALLY UNFLAVORED chicken that are not even seasoned in any way! No veggies inside either. No taste. NOTHING! For $13.00! The beans which are out of a can and totally bland rice is crammed into the other tiny compartments! When an entree is ordered it should be made to proper size and taste and not just so it can be crammed into the smallest possible portion of a tiny tray with nothing inside! The sides should be served on the side. And after you pay a lot for guacamole they "forget" the chips.

Yum!
Ordered delivery...enchiladas hit the spot. Guacamole was very good, too. Not short on any flavor. I will return.

Low key, authentic, delicious
I came here with my family after visiting someone in a nearby hospital. We chose it because it was close, but I would definitely come to the neighborhood to eat here. A varied menu; everything we ordered was good, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portions.

Not Good
Small portion sizes for the price. Dry and tasteless tamale. Chile Renellos was singular, so for $12.50 one chili. You can find much better.

Waitress Needs a New Career
Waitress/hostess was very unpleasant, No Smile, No hello. She had no excuse for her acts. I was about to put a chip in my mouth and she crossed over my hand to put the water on the table and did not even say "sorry", Nothing! My co worker had to tell her can I have something to drink and then she walked away! did not even ask me if i wanted a drink. When she came backI had to tell her what I wanted and then she walked away! Super unpleasant.....Food is great but service like that makes me not want to go back!
