Not Good
Small portion sizes for the price. Dry and tasteless tamale. Chile Renellos was singular, so for $12.50 one chili. You can find much better.

Waitress Needs a New Career
Waitress/hostess was very unpleasant, No Smile, No hello. She had no excuse for her acts. I was about to put a chip in my mouth and she crossed over my hand to put the water on the table and did not even say "sorry", Nothing! My co worker had to tell her can I have something to drink and then she walked away! did not even ask me if i wanted a drink. When she came backI had to tell her what I wanted and then she walked away! Super unpleasant.....Food is great but service like that makes me not want to go back!

Poor dining room service
We spent an hour and a half waiting for our food while watching delivery orders fly out the door. I enjoy the food, but this restaurant obviously would rather run a take out/delivery business.

Terrific!
I've eaten dinner here several times and have always been pleased. The dining area is vewry small and more like Ray's Pizzeria but if you want good, fresh, homemade Mexican food, this is the place to go on the ues. Earier this week I went for lunch and could not have been more pleased. The tortilla soup, as usual, was excellent. Put in some of the salsa they give you with chips and it is marvelous. I also had a torta carne enchilada and it was 'out of sight'. (It was also very big.) Meat, avocado, lettuce, tomatoe, jalapenos layered on a fresh bun. I'll soon be back! Total? Fifteen bucks including a generous tip.

Mediocre...
When we just moved to York Ave.(one year ago) they used to make decent food and had average service. Since the last 6 months the girl who answer the phone is so unprofessional, the food arrives cold, taste is no good and the portions are smaller and smaller. So sad because there is NO good Mexican restaurants in Yorkville.

Medicore UES Mexican
I've had delivery from here a few times with fairly consistent results. Portion sizes are somewhat small, prices are a little high. Unlike the Chinese run joints in nyc, this place has actual, passable Mexican cuisine and you won't suffer bodily after eating it. If your craving mexican, want delivery and are on the UES, there are few other choices.
