Love, love, love this place!
Living in NYC, we're a bit spoiled to have so many great places to dine in. The mere fact that I ever return to any place is a testament to that place. I've eaten here 4 times. I don't work or live in the area, so it's one of my go-to places when I'm meeting up with a friend. I love Pala. Excellent pizza, from the crust to the toppings. The crust is the perfect combination of light and airy to crisp and thin. Their favetta salad is my fave. Can't wait to go back!

Best Pizza Hands Down!
Pala has a whole vegan and non-vegan menu which makes it a great place for everyone. Their pizza is amazing! Hands down best vegan pie I have ever had. Their “Funghi & Salsiccia Pizza” is so tasty even non-vegan’s that dined with me loved it! Oh and they offer gluten free dough as well. Now, I must make a complaint…or two...in the hopes that the owner/manager would take this as constructive critisicm. They tend to have a weird obsession with seating people right next to each other, despite the fact that the restaurant is empty. This has happened to me and others on several separate occasions wherein there was just a handful of customers and they will not allow you to be seated wherever you would like. Instead they make sure to seat you right next to the only other table in the whole place. Oh and the tables are about 10 inches apart from one another. My other complaint is I have dined here several times, within weeks to months apart and their bathroom is very unkempt. Poorly maintained is a severe understatement. Since my first time dining here they still have yet to repair the lock on the door of the only restroom in the place. My suggestion, take it to go!

Amazing gluten free pizza!!
Pala definitely has the most amazing gluten-free pizza!! I have no idea where all these negative reviews came from!! Most gluten-free pizza tastes like cardboard yet this pizza is DELICIOUS! definitely not frozen. SO GOOD!!

My new favorite!
Came here to try the vegan pizza and was overly impressed with the dedicated vegan menu. I primarily eat gluten-free foods, but often have to compromise on this when I eat out. Not at Pala! We had the Patatosa pizza on a gluten-free crust and I don't have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to do this pizza justice. Washed down with a delightful Bard's gluten-free beer. The fact that my omni, vegetarian and vegan friends all have many options, this will undoubtedly become my go-to restaurant.

Delivery
I'm not gluten free, and neither is my boyfriend, but i just choose to not eat gluten, and i'm telling you, this pizza is awesome. I didn't actually go to the restaurant so I can't speak for service or atmosphere, but as far as the pizza goes-5 stars

love at first bite!
Having been GF for some time now, Pala has made a huge difference in my life. It is the first restaurant where the pizza tasted like pizza. The meatballs are to die for. I go back as often as I can. Whoop whooop!

Great food
My children are very picky eaters and even they asked when we could come back! Both the pizza and pasta were wonderful. The couple that we were with had allergy issues and the staff was very accomindating. I will agree that the service was a little bit slow. But our waitress was wonderful and refilled drinks, bread basket ect without prompting. We will be back!
