    Halal

Most of the dishes contain more oil and that's why I order my food with nan bread and not rice. They charge you a dollar more for the brown rice despite it's just colored Basmati rice. You can have a good meal for less than $8. Taste good. Halal. Good tea and Pakistani sweets. Used to be open 24 hours before September 11, 2001. Open always late. A lot of cab driver stop their nighttime. Hakim Talbi

    Ras Malai!

I usually get the vegetarian combo - it's a steal! The black chickpeas are the best. The best part about PTH is the Ras Malai! It's sweetened cheese balls in cream. Ok it sound's funny, but I am now addicted. only $3.

    Best Food In town

I was shocked to see the great affordable prices this delicious restaurant offers. The delicious and Healthy food is always served fresh. I agree that due to small space, the restaurant atmosphere is not elegant or fancy. The fresh food and great prices makes this place rock!!

Best Subcontinent Food Value in the City

I have eaten here dozens of times and tried everything on the menu. I have never been disappointed. The quality is high and the prices are modest. I have also ordered food in large quantities for parties and it has been exceptional. Everything is wonderfully fresh, in part because the turnover is so high. A taxi stand is nearby and the drivers come here often and at all hours. The curries are delicious and the saag paneer is to die for. The dal (lentils) have a smooth texture that complements the steaming mountain of rice. Only the mixed veg is blah. When I am in a hurry, I buy several kebabs to go and enjoy them as a hearty snack with yogurt. Though the restaurant itself is small, my husband and I have always gotten a seat.

    good value, good food

Well, no one should come to this place expecting miracles, but the food really isn't bad. I just ordered chicken tikka masala, spinich and lentils and all three passed my seal of approval. Enough food for 2 meals including the rice, and only 7.50. This neighborhood is expensive and it's nice to find something affordable and hearty outside of the soup/sandwich category. I would go back here, certainly.

    Ok for take out

The food isn't bad (I always get the makhani), and the price is right. The service and atmosphere are downright poor. However, since I work in the area and can take it back to my office, I eat it fairly often. I think it's open until 3:00 in the morning, maybe even later.

    Best Indian in Manhattan!!

I work right around the corner from this place and eat here atleast once a week. Not only if the food delicious, it's a bargin! Recommend the chicken curry, daal and black-eyed peas. The chicken combo gives enough food for leftovers. Although the atmosphere is a little blah, since it is a small place, the food is good enough and cheap enough to compensate!
