I was happy when Pagoda changed over to Hi, because the noodle soups and curries they started serving were pretty good, and the food seemed better all around. But since the change, the food quality has gradually gone back down hill. The lunch special I ordered this past wknd - once a fabulous deal - was very very poor quality. The order was incomplete, the rice was mush and totally inedible and the basil chicken unappetizing. Will never order from again.

I had the Pha Ram Seafood and my friend had the chicken. Both totally hit the spot. I had three mussels-with-shell in mine, about 4 shrimp, a number of good pieces of calamari, and some really delicious curry sauce. The delivery guy came quickly and was as jovial as you can expect one to be after climbing 5 flights of stairs (elevator was out of order - womp). I will order from Pagoda Thai again! Great go-to.

I go there since it's the closest Thai place to my apartment. The food is okay - not bad, not great. The problem is the service. Problem #1: They advertise they accept credit cards, yet never want to accept them. It's such a negotiation. Problem #2: They will try to charge you for more than what you ordered, or change the prices from what's on the menu.

Totally bland. It's not hard to find better Thai.

The food is mediocre. Not bad. Not at all amazing. The real problem with this place is the service. I've called twice trying to get them to deliver to me but they claim that i am too far away. I am minutes from this restaurant. If they would simply take the time to look at a map and deliver my food, I would rate this place a solid 3.5 but alas, after being hung up on while trying to explain where I live, I give this place a solid BOO!

Ordered a spicy rice with beef- and seriously the beef pieces were so small and didn't looked like they were cooked right. more like boiled or something. They weren't that nice brown color, more like that weird brown color-- of what I can see, there were like 4 pieces.

I was so excited to find out that a new Thai restaurant was opening up in my neighborhood, which means I don't have to walk to Cheers on Lorimer for Thai food anymore. But Pagoda really disappoints me. The food was nothing to rave about, the staff were not friendly, no service .. 3 times I was there hoping the 3rd was a charm but it didn't happen. So I went back to my sweet old Cheers!! Better food & better friendlier service. It's worth the walk from Graham ave to Lorimer plus I get to burn some calories too. So, no Cheers for pagoda.
