While in NYC for Fashion Week, my family and I chose this restaurant to dine and we were pleasantly pleased with both the service and the food. I would definitely recommend it and will certainly return. No complaints here!

Padre Figlio has some of the best food in NYC. What a diverse selection! From Pastas to Seafood to Steaks to Wild Game, they have everything! And it is all delicious. The wine list is heavily Italian-Centric. There was live music on Saturday evening with people dancing. It's a fun restaurant with great value, just a little off the beaten path.

My recent 2nd visit was disappointing. Slow service from the waiter, filet of sole not fresh, sub par chocolate marscapone dessert. Also rather an outdated dark look in an out of the way location. Not worth another trip when there are many nicer restaurants around for the money in terms of both food as well as atmosphere

Friends of ours made a reservation at Padre Figlio.I had trepidations based on reviews I had read on Menupages.com.I usually trust the reviews I find here. This time though our experience was different than the majority of the reviews. The food was terrific, the service was very attentive and while pricey we were not disappointed with the value received.I would recommend Padre Figlio to friends. We were all very satisfied with our dinner and I know that my wife and I will be back again.

Spaghetti & clams was very average & the lobster ravioli didn't taste fresh. the caesar salad was ok...the atmosphere is cozy & romantic though, and the service was good. quite pricey for the quantity you get.

Went there for dinner last Friday night for the first time. Excellent value on their prix fixe dinner. Extensive regular menu. The three of us enjoyed the food. Good service and not pushy. It was latin night and the music was delightful! Not too loud.

I just got back from a lunch date with a good friend. It was my first and last visit to this restaurant. What a disappointment! Despite the nice atmosphere and good service the food was not good. My ceasar salad was composed mainly of brown tinged lettuce, covered with a decent dressing. The chicken scarpetta, which the waiter said was his favorite dish consisted of 3 lumpy chicken pieces of rubbery texture, cold string beans and overdone potatoes. The panna cotta was totally tasteless. I complained to the waiter about the salad and was offered a free glass of wine. I left most of the food on the plate.
