Grease Lightning
I tried both the triangle appetizer and the pad thai. The pad thai was floating in a syrupy greasy brown sauce, with hardly any chicken or tofu, just runny noodles. I'd always heard good things about this place, so I was mighty surprised.

Another little thai joint
Went here for drinks and appetizers with a friend before a concert--the green tea martini and pineapple margarita are so delicious--fresh and smooth and not too sweet. We also had the steamed summer rolls and triangle spring rolls--also fresh and yummy. The waiters were all attractive gay men who were attentive and polite. I'd go there again for drinks, appetizers--maybe a lunch. the portions are small compared to other thai restaurants, oddly the prices are the same. :(

Not recommended
our dinner at phad thai was very disappointing . the food was so unfresh as if the lettuce (or other ingridiance) were recycled from unfinished dishes from the day before.

Good for drinks only, food not fresh
Overall: nice atmosphere, clean looking overall, attentive staff. Drinks were decent not watered down or overpriced BUT ... we were disappointed to see the calamari appetizer that looked unusually small, dehydrated & coated in corn meal batter as if it was previously frozen (?) i wanted to ask but its beyond rediculous to serve frozen calimari in a thai rest. so i didn't bother, but i think it was. Also the noodle dishes were very greasy, flat tasting & looking, more like cheap chinese delivery. I expect more from Thai food, and will choose any othe local place first from now on, such as Cafe Asean, Republic etc. This place wasn't great before the renovation and isnt any better now. Oh well, live & learn.

Slow service and mediocre food
I went there with my boyfriend for lunch at around 2pm on a weekday. It wasn't packed (there was only one other table besides us) but we waited for about 40 minutes before the food came. We ordered the lunch box (comes with pad thai, salad, and an entree). It was quite spicy (i didn't expect the pad thai to be spicy) and the salad wasn't good at all.

pork on a stick
I was out one night with my friends and we came across a thai place called Pad Thai. I orded the pork saty and it was delisious. I highly recommend this place.

Used to be better before they changed
Pad Thai used to be our neighborhood deadlock on thai, but not anymore. They took some of the best items off their menu when they changed over! Let me say out loud and clear that the golden pouches especially, and the thai house salad are sorely missed. Somehow, the need to be trendy took over, and transformed the menu to mediocre. I'm sure they are now competing heavily with Spice up the street, and I'm confident the old menu would have held up better. The service, however, is pleasant and the atmosphere, though sometimes crowded, is more pleasant then Spice. I also think their pad tai competes well with their competitor. Bring back the old menu!
