Love this place!
I'm surprised at the bad reviews of Pacifico. We go here at least twice a month -- it's a total staple. Granted, I get the exact same thing every time, the chicken tinga tostadas, so I can't vouch for the other food. But the tostadas are so amazing they warrant plenty of stars. I also like the salsa that everyone is complaining about. The service can be spotty, but since we're regulars we get plenty of free drinks -- which is pretty awesome. I also love the atmosphere in both summer (outside and fun) and in winter (cozy fireplace, warm old-fashioned christmas bulbs). I just love this place, and it's always packed, so others must too!

Buzz Kill
Don't expect service here. We have been 3 times now and the last time, we walked out before we even received drinks. After ordering $30 worth of appetizers and beverages, our waitress rudely told us that we may have to give up our table since we weren't eating "dinner." Be aware, it was 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and there were at least 10 available tables surrounding us. If you're looking for a relaxed outdoor atmosphere with tasty tequila and tacos DO NOT go to El Pacifico - they are likely to kill a weekend buzz.

Good food, fun place, poor service!
The food here is authentic and delicious. You get plenty for your money plus the atmosphere (esp. in the summer is great!). Only thing is, the service sucks! Time after time, the service is so disappointing - almost like the wait staff ignores you. I asked for a fork and knife once, and sat with my dinner getting cold in front of me for 15 minutes. Only go here if you have time to spare and plenty of patience!

okay
It is just okay. I have to say I find it a bit ridiculous that they charge for tortilla chips and salsa, never have heard of that at a Mexican restaurant and I am from down south. The tacos where alright, nothing I want to run out and get again.

Outside Eats
Trust me on this one. Try the pulled pork sandwich - juicy, flavorful, and it comes with some insanely good yucca fries! It will have you coming back for more.... But what's the deal with charging for chips and runny salsa? Not cool. The crab cake entree is also surprisingly delicious and very filling.

Brunch review
Very fast service and good atmoshpere. Nachos a bit sulky, could have been better, dont order the chicken wings, not worth it. The sangria is good. Pulled pork sandwich good, especially the yum fries that come with it. The breakfast quesadillas have too much egg in them. Overall rating good. Decor and atmosphere great.

Sangria to DIE for
Pacifico is the first restaurant we ever ate at when we moved to the neighborhood. The food has never disappointed us - neither have the drinks. They serve some of the tastiest and strongest sangria I've ever had. The food is great but I must manage expectations - the service is spotty as heck. If you go in knowing this, it's worth it. Prepare to wait. Prepare to be ignored. BUT - prepare to enjoy your food (nachos & pork quesadilla are great). Pacifico has great outdoor space and a wonderful fireplace in the winter.
