Eh
The atmosphere is sterile and commercial feeling. They don't have a good tap selection, unless you want 6 points (not a west coast beer). The lighting is too bright for a bar.

setting a good standard
the pacific standard is a comfortable pub where you can hang out with friends and drink some delicious pacific coast beer, the bartender was very courteous during our visit and didn't get disgruntled at two of our group who took an hour deciding on what beer to order. there is no substantial food menu to speak of, just chips and cheese.
