Good quality for the price
I order delivery from Ayogu at least a couple times a month. For the relative cheap price, the sushi is surprisingly fresh and tasty. I am a fan of the special sushi entrees such as the Dijon Sushi which is generally not something you would get at other restaurants in the same price range.

Skip it
Food is just so-so. Try not to order for delivery because they will probably write down the wrong info (in my case) and wrong info=wrong order/wrong address/long wait. Once again SKIP this place. Way too many other sushi places to try out.

Great delivery - fast and fresh
I live in the UES and this was my first time ordering from Ayogu. I ordered a lunch special; the delivery arrived within 15 minutes and was fresh and tasted great. Also, the delivery guy was very friendly. They just moved to the top of my list for sushi delivery. Highly recommended!

Delivery guy didn't have change
I lived upstairs from this place about 3 years ago and ordered from it all the time. It was delicious and priced really well. Now in my new apartment (3 blocks away), I ordered delivery for the first time in a long time. It's weird that the name has changed from Oyogu to Ayogu but the menu and food was for the most part the same. However, and this is what really got me, the delivery guy's ticket did not have the amount owed listed or any prices and he did not have any change other than a few quarters! I was honest and told him it should have come to about 14 bucks, but since all I had was a 20 I was stuck... maybe I'm cheap but I normally don't tip 50%. Not cool Oyogu, or Ayogu, or whatever your name is now.

Hidden Neighborhood Find!
This place is quite the find! The sushi is amazing and fresh, it's quiet and intimate, and the service is great. I definitely recommend stopping by this hidden gem!

must be new management..too bad!!
i have eaten here for years and often order out. after waiting for over an hour...no food! too bad. looks like it is under new management. who has time for service like this!

Beware - new owner
Oyogu is apparently under new ownership. This was our favorite place in the neighborhood until we recently returned and didn't recognize anyone there. Although, the menu is the same, the food is not. I will not return. Sad to see my favorite place go.
