I am constantly disappointed with sushi delivery on the upper east side. It never tastes as fresh as when you are eating there. I only like other places but they are expensive. So we took our chances with this place and were so surprised with how yummy it was. The salmon pieces were beyond fresh and delicious. In some ways better than other places because the pieces are so small. Here they are a really nice size. We also ordered the spicy crab caviar and shrimp tempura roll and those were also very tasty. The rice on these rolls even tasted a little warm still. The delivery was fast. We will definitely be ordering from here again. I am so relieved to have found a great sushi delivery place on the UES!!

I have tried the sushi in almost every renown restaurant in NYC, including Nobu, Megu, and Bond St. NOTHING came close to the delicious roles and sashimi at Ayogu. Try Pink Lady, Sweatheart role, and, White Dragon. Delivery was speedy too.

We live in the east 70's & have tried every sushi place in the 60's, 70,'s & 80's but Ayogu is our favorite! Super white tuna and salmon are amazing! Always so fresh & delivery is so fast! I love this place! Best value for your money!

I love the vegetarian chicken from this place! It is so yummy that I have started to order it steamed. It has a great taste on it's own and does not need anything more than a little sauce to dip it in (the dumpling sauce is very good and has little or no fat). They are very accommodating and flexible if you want to substitute a different veggie with the veg chicken (it's listed with broccoli, but the Chinese broccoli is very tasty with it).

I order delivery from Ayogu at least a couple times a month. For the relative cheap price, the sushi is surprisingly fresh and tasty. I am a fan of the special sushi entrees such as the Dijon Sushi which is generally not something you would get at other restaurants in the same price range.

Food is just so-so. Try not to order for delivery because they will probably write down the wrong info (in my case) and wrong info=wrong order/wrong address/long wait. Once again SKIP this place. Way too many other sushi places to try out.

I live in the UES and this was my first time ordering from Ayogu. I ordered a lunch special; the delivery arrived within 15 minutes and was fresh and tasted great. Also, the delivery guy was very friendly. They just moved to the top of my list for sushi delivery. Highly recommended!
