Love it! Pizza was heaven, a bit small but delish! and we also had the meatballs and the eggplant parm, soo good! will be going back.

Had lunch here with a colleague for the first time and I was surprised for such an out-of-the-way location that the place was packed. Now I know why. Interior decor is cool, love that the chairs are all different, and the exposed brick walls. Pizza oven is really hypnotic too. Service was quick considering the crowds-despite what I've read in earlier reviews—but the food is the real star. We had the fried artichoke starter, which was incredible, and a couple of pizzas that lovers of Neapolitan pies will go ga-ga over. Charred, chewy crust, great sauce and cheese, nice and moist overall. Next time I'll make a day of it and come here, have some food and maybe take a walk on the High Line.

I'm Italian and I don't think this place is authentic. They have decent dishes, like the Charlie sandwich, but their pasta falls short. It's not worth the high price tag.

The food is worth it. I regularly visit Ovest and know that sitting at the bar is better. Service is generally good, food is delicious, and we take guests here on a regular basis. We have had birthday celebrations and happy hour here and it has not let us down. However, I think they should have a stronger team/communication on the floor. When I have a larger party, the service is great, if it is four or less, it can be hit or miss, but they are responsive and the manager is fantastic. Other than that, great food at an appropriate price.

Poor delivery service- charged more than menu prices indicate, communication was extremely difficult. Pizza is good, but does not warrant the horrendous ordering process or inflated price

$18.00 bar pie with a doughy crust, jar sauce, spots of cheese and 2 basil leaves. We order in weekly and dine out weekly. We will never order from here again nor will we try the restaurant.
