    Yum

The achat is consistently good, and ask the great maître d’ about what else is special that night.

    Malaysian Street Hawker Food

If you know what to order, this is a terrific place. Try the achat, roticanai, seafood scramble egg chow fun or their crispy golden fried shrimp. For further recommendations, ask for either Wan or Ha. They are lovely waitresses who will guide you through the extensive menu. The place was recently done over so it looks good. Lots of locals are regulars so it's a fun place to see what everyone else is eating and to strike up a chat.

    Not recommended

just ordered from oversea. i had the roti, mee goreng, and hainanese chicken with rice. the only good part of the meal was the roti. i wish i had just ordered 4 orders of that. the mee goreng was edible, but not very good. and i could only eat a couple bites of the hainanese chicken. definitely won't be calling them back anytime soon.

    Meat and Potatoes

Meat-and-potatoes style "plain cookin'". Inside, a bit on the dingy side but quick service and the lunch special of $4.25 is a good value. On one occasion I ordered Roast Pork and Taro Root. It was a massive heap of food and did not look at all like a Chinese platter. You'll get you money's worth.
