Fun pub...great outdoor space.
Place can be very crowded Thursday through the Weekend. Monday to Wednesday, especially when the weather is nice, lets you eat outside on their second floor roof deck, with wide screen TVs and games on. The food is good bar/pub food; their speciality french fries are fun. Service was fine and friendly. Not sure if that changes when the place is rockin...prefer to go at those times when it's sedate.

Will not return
Bought the $1 dollar special off of living social. Its funny because the whole point of teaming up with living social is to promote the restaurant but this experience made me NEVER want to return. The service was extremely poor and slow, water was never refilled, every table was waiting for their food 45min to and hour or more, and worst of all no one was apologetic at all. Its understood that they were busy but at least show some remorse for your hungry customers. I would not recommend coming back here.

Good Neighborhood Bar
I come to this place to drink, and only drink . The bartenders and atomosphere are great. My only pet peeve is that they are never open at their advertised time!!

Very Disappointed
This bar advertises happy hour as 2 for the price of 1. The problem here is when you order your drinks, it is really 2 drinks in 1 cup and no one tells you this. Hence, you order a second drink thinking it's your freebie, but you're really ordering another 2 drinks. When you receive your bill you think that you are paying $8 for 2 drinks but you are really paying $16 for "4" drinks. I won't return.

Best Burgers and mashed potatoes
Where I work were always looking for a good burger joint after we ordered burgers from overlook everyone screamed "its a winner." Love this place cant wait to try other items from the menu but I just can't help it I'm in love with the burger there!!!

St. Patrick's '08
10 firefighters from S. Fla. marched in the parade and then wound up at Overlook. The best time we had in NY that weekend was at the Overlook. Food was great and the bar was awesome. Paddy the bartender was great and took care of us the entire time. Great atmosphere and cant wait to go back. Friends were made that day ! Thanks Paddy the bartender and Tommy from DSNY.

come for the sliders
i come here for the sliders (called burger bites on the menu) and pomme frites. both awesome, and i know a good burger when i see one! not cheap, but not expensive either.
