Outback Steakhouse

The food isn't authentic Australian fare or even economical. What's more I was charged three times for my meal. As I write, I'm attempting to call the restaurant which apparently is experiencing phone problems as my call is being diverted to the answerphone of Chelsea and Malory.

This is a great kid spot! The staff is very friendly and the food is decent. I recommend the chicken on the barbie. The mashed potatos are pretty good as well. Only drawback is that the lighting is very dim. Other then that, this place is a plus!

No doubt this is a chain, and in new york you can do a lot better, but you can also do a lot worse. I had an awesome steak at a ok price and their fish dishes are good with I was shocked by. What makes this a place that I like to go is the servers though, I have had a great one every time and I think they make it worth while.

A good, reasonable burger at a decent price for what you get. It's a cheesy chain, yes, but sometimes that's what you want. Staff are friendly, food is pretty darn good, and you're in and you're out.

While Outback may not be the most exciting restaurant in New York, every time I have gone I have been able to count on getting a consisitently very good steak at very reasonable prices for New York. don't overlook it in your search for a good steak. The salads are also very good!
