    Good cupcakes

I love the cupcakes here but the people are unfriendly. They don't even say hi or thank-you after you give them a tip. I would buy more if they were friendlier.

    Warm Cupcakes, Cold Service

The cupcakes are delicious indeed, better than Magnolia but with less variety. I used to work a few blocks away so it was convenient at the time. Now I have to travel from Astoria in order to pick some up. I wouldn't mind so much if only the staff would be friendly. I don't understand why they aren't, perhaps it's just arrogance. The people there are like "Cupcake Nazis" (to borrow from Seinfeld). As much as I like their cupcakes, I may just have to give them up.

    Best cupcakes

The best cupcakes in Manhattan. So so so much better than Magnolia, Cupcake Cafe, or any of the others. Yum!

    Good allround choice

I order the turkey on foccacia once a week for lunch and I stop by to pick up dinner more than once a week. The people are very matter of fact, but certainly not unfriendly. I love the cupcakes, and all of the salad dishes are tasty and healthy. I don't care how nice they are to me, as long as the food quality stays the same..

    They are too nice...

I have to go to Out of the Kitchen to get food for work at least once a week. There is one woman there who knows my name and always smiles and is super friendly. Maybe this isn't exactly Cheers still, but it's a nice place to go, and I believe the other people I see there feel the same. This morning I tried to go there to get muffins, but they were closed for vacation for a few days. Another woman was showing up to get something as well, and we both sighed disappointed simultaneously upon reading the 'temporarily closed' sign.

    Not like Cheers....

So I've been going to this place every single day for the past 8 months to order the same thing. A very simple order. All I want is for them to say Hi! Would you like the same today? Instead, it's the same old crowd with asking "what would you like today" like I'm going to ask for something different one magical afternoon. There's only like 2 people that work there and I know they know what I'm going to order! Anyway, I'll still go there but their service is poor. The cupcakes are good the first time but never after that.

    Poor service

Good cupcakes, but I'd rather take my business elsewhere -- called to inquire about cakes and was yelled out b/c I appeared to have interrupted them helping in-store customers. Sorry for my interest!
