We are regulars at Ottomanelli's. They can make a good steak, properly cooked, and a nice, not overpriced, salmon. Service is good, as is the garlic bread, and they will serve the bottle of wine you brought in with you. Nothing fancy, just good food and low prices. Worth a try.

I had a serious craving for italian and ottomanellis is in the neighborhood. I ordered the seafood pasta special for takeout and it was great. The prices are really good too, only 14.95 for the entree. The portion was huge and it came with free garlic bread. Overall the food was really good, however the older woman that works the register and the phone is very rude. I have ordered from there a few times other times and I always feel like she is extremely rude, not only to the customers but also the other employees.

Highly recommended by a friend and thought the food was fabulous tonight. Loved sitting at the intimate table in the front window. Ordered the manicotti special and my husband had the shrimp parm. We both enjoyed every bite. Can't wait to go back again.

Loved it. Once. Last time, poorly cooked, poor service, tasteless (maybe they got a new chef?). Not going back anymore. Not recommended.

My experience with Ottomanelli's has been consistently excellent. I have only eaten in, so I can't comment on take-out; and I'm a vegetarian, so I also can't comment on meat dishes. The pasta dishes (with complimentary garlic bread -yum!) are great, however. The desserts are amazing, and the service in-house has always been very courteous and swift. I highly recommend this neighborhood treasure!

I used to order from here about twice a week as the food is pretty good. However, after my last order I won't be calling them any more. I placed an order for a well done burger and buffalo wings. They forgot the buffalo wings, they also sent me a burger that was barely cooked, solid pink almost all the way through. So I called. The woman who had taken my order had the nerve to say the buffalo wings "weren't mentioned." When I said that's bull and if that were true why was there 2 containers of blue cheese in my order the woman actually got snotty and pretended to not be the woman who took my order. She had the nerve to act as if I was being a "problem" customer, despite that fact that they got my order totally wrong. Rather than apologizing, she tried to pretend the order was my fault and tried to play the "placate the problem customer" routine, condescendingly saying she could send the missing wings, "sir." No apology, no offer to correct the order which she had gotten totally wrong, just snotty, barely contained contempt for a customer daring to complain. Unbelievable. This is how you lose a customer for life, and they did.

I love Ottomanelli's. Their food is great! the place is a very small lil ultra casual place, but I still go from time to time and eat there, but mostly get take out. Their burgers are the best! Their meat comes from ottomanelli butcher, so its high quality. The chicken wings are also amazing. I also like the seafood chef salad and the pastas are deelish! Also like their homemade soups, lentil is so good, and for dessert they have an amazing tirmisu cake. This is my go-to spot for great food at great prices. I really have no idea why/how others had bad experiences. I have lived on UES for years and always enjoy my food from this place. And the service is quick and friendly. :)
