Ottomanelli New York Grill

I frequent Ottomanellis on 93rd and Lex often with my 10 month old daughter and we absolutely love both the food and atmosphere. There were some renovations done that make the restaurant look even better than before...and of course the food is still amazing! It is always hard to find places where kids are not only accepted, but welcomed yet Ottomanellis is exactly this kind of place. Each time I enter Ottomanellis, both my daughter and I are greeted with big smiles and huge plates of delicious food! There is no snobbiness here!! Thank you for giving my daughter and I a place to relax, eat, and enjoy a night out on the town!

I agree with you, the restaurant did get nicer in the evening , but I think that it is much more comfortable. but if you were observant you would have noticed that the prices have not changed regardless of the obvious improvements in the atmosphere of the restaurant. As a single parent I love going there with me two boys for lunch and going there in the evening for a date. This place is GREAT! The food is AWESOME!

These burgers are amazing. 4 inches thick, huge buns, so many varieties. My favorite is the Spicy Shrimp burger and the Wisconsin Cheese burger. Negatives The atmosphere used to be casual and masculine. They renovated the interior and now it is like a fancy restaurant where you need a reservation. You used to be able to come in, grab a soda out of the machine, and watch the food being made in the kitchen, now they put up a barrier so you can't see, added fancy table cloths and candles. A single guy or gal can't go in alone and enjoy it. It's become high brow snobby.

I absolutely adore this place. The burgers are great, and the pasta dishes are HUGE. Not to mention last night I got a huge plate of baby back ribs over mashed potatoes and cole slaw for $9.95. If this place ever disappeared I would probably cry.

Don't be fooled, there are several restaurants in the city with similar names, so make sure you order from this one! Ottamanelli New York Grill is a fantastic neighborhood find. I love the chopped salad endive and their spaghetti with meatballs. Their specials are usually pretty good too. Great value and good sized portions.

This little joint is ideal for solid, decently prepared standard Italian-American fare like spaghetti, lasagna, at very reasonable prices. Of particularly good value are the steaks, which come straight from their own butcher shop; they are tender and flavorful and remarkably cheap at around $15. The service is pleasant and friendly. A very nice neighborhood joint for classic American home-style eats.

This is just a perfect place for burgers and other mixed italian dishes. But eat a burger before anything else!
