Ottomanelli New York Grill

I've ordered four different dishes from here, all take-out. Tops is the sirloin steak, which was 14 to 16 oz., 1-1/2 inch thick and cooked exactly as I ordered it. Juicy, tender, really good flavor. Their burgers are big and juicy as well -- very nice. The marinated chicken breasts (three of them in one portion) are grilled paillard so that they can cook quickly, but the trade-off is that they'll always be a bit on the dry side. Good flavor. Unless you say otherwise, the steak and chicken come with mashed potatoes and what they call "Tuscan vegetables," which are sauteed carrots, squash and green beans -- they're nothing special; kids should like them because they're completely innocuous. (If I were from Tuscany, I'd probably ask whoever named them to explain why.) The mashed potatoes are iffy. One time they were smooth and delicious, another time dry, faintly sour, with lumps the size of marbles. I'd say stick with the french fries. The fourth entree was the spaghetti and meatballs, grapefruit-size affairs that were pretty good. It's served awash in enough sauce to float a gondola, so unless that's the way you like it, ask them to go easy when you order.

The food at Ottomanelli is by far some of the best italian I have had on the UES. Everything is great, and with their ridiculously low prices, a great value. The atmosphere there is just great i recommend this restaruant its worth every penny you waste trust me

I go to this restaurant regularly. The food is outstanding and priced well. The service is friendly and accommodating. All the food is amazing, but hands down the burgers are the best in the city. Another great dish is the "Dr. Eric" hanger steak. It is juicy and a big portion. Worth the trip to the UES!

I just moved to the neighborhood and tried Ottomanelli on my first day. Their prices are great, burgers are AMAZING (chargrilled, good toppings, great buns), and their fried mozzarella dish is superb! I've ordered delivery 4 times already from them- Highly recommended.

I was looking for a small Italian restaurant that would remind me of nights in Rome...this was it. I will go back often. Thank you Otto...

I order ottamenellis all the time and go there for a good value meal with friends. this is a great place. the only thing that annoys me is that they put me on hold when i am trying to order. get another phone line otto because no one likes to be on hold. other than that everything is fantastic. i love the fussili with eggplant and the chicken parm, the burgers, and the soups.

Had the New Orleans couple weeks ago, as my title says, "mmm so tasty." Just a rhetorical for db - or anyone else really, why would you order a spaghetti dish from a burger joint?? Stick to the basics, they've got the best burgers in the city and the most affordable (next to burger king), and this is coming from someone who hates to eat out!
