Great food for this CT family
Great Food!!! Got their name and read reviews and had to try it. Was in the city for the day with family and it was great!!! But the place is really small and filled quickly on a Sunday for brunch. But the food is the best!!! We will go again, but will make reservations because it is hard to get a table for four. Great food and we will be back!!!!

What a find!
We've lived in the neighborhood for about 5 years, but for some reason, we never made it Ottomanelli's -- until tonight. Great dinner, great service, great prices ... we will definitely return (maybe tomorrow!)

always reliable friendly take-out :)
people that answer the phone here r always soo friendly and helpful if u r undecided.. Service is also VERY FAST. which is also good on the weekend when everywhere else is an hr. And of course the burgers here ROCk. the chicken parm is huge, and delish, although the sauce is ehhh and the spaghetti is too wide n not good. But, got to love the free garlic bread they add in!

Good Casual Food, nasty employee
My husband and I order from the store on York/86th Street frequetnly. The same man who answers the phone always gives us a hard time when we want to use a credit card. A few times he has told us that it was too busy for him to take our cr card # and he hung up on my husband . Friday night, 8/21/09 the same guy had the nerve to tell me to speak faster. I hung up and ordered a burger from the Mansion Diner where they could not be nicer on the telephone. This guy should be lucky to have a job, now he needs to learn how to be nice to the customer no matter what.

Born & Raised in NYC - THIS IS THE BEST BURGER
I have been going to Ottomanelli since around 2000. HUGE burgers. I mean HUGE! Great value, for a couple of more bucks than McDonald's, you get 5 star quality gourmet burgers (with incredible waffle fries) A NEW YORK INSTITUTION. This place has been around for decades. Awesome selection. They have a popcorn shrimp with cajun mayo burger. It is so good I can't describe it here. Service is great. It's upscaled a bit since I started going but you can still walk in with your friends in casual clothing and get service without reservations.

My husband and I are from Toronto, Canada. We've been to N.Y.C twice and made a point of stopping here both times. The burger is amazing, but my personal favourite is the gorgonzola chicken (it's enough for two people to share). The service was good as well (although the staff isn't particularly knowledgeable about the surrounding area...they couldn't tell us how to get to the Guggenheim is, and it is literally around the corner. Other than that we've been nothing but impressed.
