50th b`day.
we`d had some great meals here in 2007. so we returned in 2010 for my partners 50th b`day. they made such a fuss of us. we wad a fantastic night, food as good as ever. we will return again. thank you.

What a find!
I've heard the name Ottomanelli for years, but had yet to step foot in one of the family's restaurants until tonight. What a pleasant surprise! I was expecting your typical small-portioned NYC Italian cuisine, but instead enjoyed a quite sizeable Chicken Florentine dish, complemented by fresh smashed potatoes and vegetables. My friends enjoyed other meat dishes -- chicken, steak, specialty burger -- and were impressed, as well. None of us tried the pasta, although from the looks of the dishes on nearby tables, they are probably delicious ;) To make a long story short, I would love to return!

Save your money
Noisy place; inferior food, overpriced cheap wine - a ripoff. Go to a Greek diner instead of this overrated place.

Excellent food & value
Really good steak & burgers. It's fresh and the steak comes with sides which a surprise since the prices are so low. This is our 8th time there and it never disappoints.

Solid Burgers
Nice, intimate setting, good service, great burgers... Definitely the best value on the UES! I would definitely come back, and recommend it highly to all my carnivorous friends... Their classic steak burger made my night. Also good - their chopped salad :)

Once you squeeze in you'll love it
If you're bigger than a size 2 you're going to struggle to squeeze into your table. The food is so good and service is excellent that i would gladly have them remove a couple tables, spread out more and raise the prices a little bit. The tight fit is the onl downside. The food is so delicious that once you're in, you're going to love it. Dinner for 2 with 4 glasses of wine, appetizer, one extra side and two entrees (Steak and Pasta/Eggplant) was $84. I'll definitely go back although I'll try a little earlier in the night when it might not be so crowded.

Best Value in the neighborhood
If you are looking for good food at a great price then head to Ottomanelli's. 4 star food at a 2 star price. Nice cozy restaurant atmosphere. Great specials. Don't waste your time with the overpriced UCafe down the block. If you want more of a fun bar atmosphere with great food go to Kinsale Tavern a block over on 3rd Ave between 93rd & 94th.
