I had read all the reviews about this place and had gotten discouraged, so I decided to try it for myself. I thought that the bread that was put on the table could have been a little fresher and the fact that it was wrapped in a sorta paper wasn't too appetizing, it was somewhat hard so I passed on that (they only give you one big piece) not too generous. Although the menu doesn't offer a huge selection what I did get was very good. The eggplant appetizer was good and good enough to split so everyone can have a little tasting. Then I had the proscutti pizza which was very good, Overall we were all very happy w/our meal and I would def. come back for the pizza. The wine was a bit overpriced-I would suggest getting a bottle to share amongst friends. The atmosphere was good, Good for groups!

I went on a wednesday evening an off night, and found the food to be medicore at best. We tried a few of the pasta dishes inlcuding the spaghetti and meatball "special" and the carbonara and found it bland, boring and served a bit cold.. It was put very well in a previous review that Chef Boyardee is michelin star quality compared ot the food they were serving, not to mention that they ration the bread they bring to the table. The wine list as extensive as it may seem lists many crappy overpriced and wines and the service was unfriendly unattentive and incompetent, not only did our waiter forgert on more than one occasion items we ordered, but they messed up the order as well... i will certainly not be returning here, nor reccomending this place to anyone... Mario Batalli would be dissapointed with the quality of food and service at this restuarant....in one word.. rubbish!

We went there for a friend's birthday and boy was it a disappointment! The food is very average. The menu is complicated, and they don't serve beef or chicken! How ridiculous is that! I was very disappointed. The service wasn't bad, we had a nice waitress who took care of us to compensate for the food. It also had a nice ambiance, nothing extraordinary though. The worst part is yet to come.. they didn't let us cut the birthday cake!

I've been here 2x's and each time, I've been disappointed by the pizza. It has a fairly bland crust and forgettable sauce. I was quite surprised because i'm a big fan of Lupa.

The hostesses were rude beyond belief and couldn't give an accurate estimate of wait time if their lives depended on it. After waiting for nearly 2 hours for a table (45 minutes more than we were told we would probably wait) a hostess rolled her eyes at me (!!!) when I asked how much longer the wait would be. Thank god for our friendly and knowledgeable server who offered totally relaxed yet professional service. Don't let the kids behind the host desk discourage you from trying this restaurant. Friendly service can be had!

The meatballs were weak. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and it looked & tasted like Chef Boyardee. The 'special' of the evening was turkey meatballs and they were dry and somewhat bland. We had pizza at the table too - Patsy's is better.
