I'm glad the reviewers below didn't know good food when they ate it! This way, it'll never get too crowded. The food here is greatwell prepared and innovative. Not for the unsophisticated only true foodies need enter! We've been here several timeseach time the food was amazing, the service excellent and friendly. Especially good-the stuffed artichoke hearts, stuffed tortolini, lobster ravioli, and veal dishes. Also, a nice wine list.

Went last night with wife and 7 yr old to meet friends who just moved to Hell's Kitchen. Place kinda looked like a suburban idea of an urban italian restaurant. Started off badly when the hostess, who was perky and trying a bit too hard asked if my kid wanted a sprite. Not a prude, but try to keep her off soda and stuff. Prices high, but some interesting stuff on the menu and my friend is a siciliana, so knows good southern italian. Ordered octopus salad which was dry and old tasting, covered with limp bacon (not pancetta) that was really supbar. I would have sent it back, but it was my friend's b-day and she suggested the place. Other main courses were cloying sweet, poorly prepared and all very expensive. Desserts so sweet almost inedible and the service artifical. Good espresso is about the best i can say. So many other great places for less. Something sad and creepy about it.

The food was good. The service was just OK. We asked for our pasta to be served after our appetizers. Instead, they brought it at the same time as our appetizers.

i went to OG before the clapton and winwood concert in february. now i understand that the place was busier than normal but it was like half empty still! the waiters looked nervous and messed up our drink order. also they acted rather rude to a testy customer i saw in the table next to us. and to top it off... they gave me a blank menu!! Thats right it had nothing on it as all! soooo when i did order my food it was a while later. and the food was alright. we ended up makin the concert by like a few minutes. so if your in a rush dont go there

We arrived a bit late due to RAIN! We were very welcomed and seated in the side room, very cozy. The food was wonderful and creative. Chef Donato greeted us and was very helpful in our ordering.

After we were seated by the hostess we began looking over the menu and suddenly we were approached by another hostess and asked if we had reservations, as if we were not welcome. At this point the restaurant was maybe 1/3 filled. It took quite a while for a server to come over and take our drink order. During dinner the manager continued to circulate throughout the restaurant hovering uncomfortably over every table. Very creepy. Also. as we entered we gave our umbrellas to the hostess. Upon leaving the restaurant one of the hostesses gestered to another hostess to grab our umbrellas and she just pointed to where they were and said, "there they are." The food was good but the fact that the service was extremely lacking and the hostess was rude will ensure that I will never go to this restaurant again.
