    wonderful, mind boggling brunch

My boyfriend and I are New Yorkers, who spent the night at the Waldorf Astoria as a birthday celebration. We could have gone anywhere for brunch the next day but went to Oscar's. The selection was outstanding: dozens of different baked goods, all baked

Don't go for the brunch buffet

$28 will get you either the salad bar or the hot food bar, but not both. The hot food bar doesn't have a lot of selection and what it does have isn't particularly appealing. Does egg corn casserole sound good to you? How about leftover vegetable egg white

    Unpleasant experience

We went to Oscar's with my 11 year old nephews for brunch before a show at the Waldorf. Despite having the menu faxed to us ahead of time (which had both breakfast and lunch options on it), there was no menu when we got there, only a lunch buffet. The f

    Waldorf prices for airport food

I would definitely not recommend this restaurant. The food was bland and hardly edible. My overpriced salad actually tasted like plastic wrap which leads me to believe it was sitting in a fridge wrapped in plastic. The crab cake (singular) was pretty goo

    never been so insulted

We came here for brunch. The place was teeming (it was three days after Christmas) and although I told the waiter we had a reservation, he shooed us off in the direction of the queue. Since when did people with reservations have to stand in line? Having d

    What a surprize!

We ate here the end of October. Wanted to eat somewhere close to our hotel after a long day of sightseeing and where we didn't have to dress up. Oscar's was recommended. We didn't expect much, especially after seeing the interior, but we were pleasant

What an amazing time we had

We came for restaurant week but instead decided to do the lunch buffet for $27. The lunch buffet had 6 or 7 salads, filet mignon, roasted salmon with grilled vegetables, a chicken with olives dish, the famous Waldorf salad along with spicy chicken salad

    Not recommended

The best part about Oscars was the walk through the lobby of the Waldorf. The food was forgettable, as a matter of fact I already forgot it. Everything is a la carte. Coffee was a small fortune like 10 dollars, not a roll or muffin on the table anywhere
