Average
After being against my will talked into going into a half-full Orologio, I sat down to 1) Average if a bit slow service 2) Average if a bit bland burger (the only interesting entree seemed to be the vegetable risotto special which, according to the waitress, was actually 2 dollars more expensive than the seafood risotto and was 20 bucks?!?) 3) Average if a bit overpriced wine list (which are all just listed as a type, so you have no idea what vintage/region the wine you're choosing comes from) Mostly likely not going back . . .

Great neighbourhood italian
I took my girlfriend here who is a vegetarian and both of us were highly satisfied. We were seated straightaway and the waitress came over promptly to take our orders. My girlfriend had a pasta dish and I had a chicken and mushroom risotto and both of us were highly satisfied with all facets of the restaurant. I'd definitely come back.

Awesome and reasonable Brunch
I live in the area and have always passed outside this restaurant curious to try it. I've been twice for brunch so far and will definitely be coming back. The dishes are very good and the prices are very reasonable. Great neighborhood spot for a quiet brunch.

Good Food at a Great Price
I have been here several times and continue to go out of my way to go back because the food and wine are great for the price and the atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. I like that it is small and you feel you are not in a restaurant that is looking to turn your table. I agree with other reviews, a little European....

ok service, unpleasant food
ok so we checked this place out for the first time and we were disappointed. first the bread came and it seemed very old , i ordered the black and white pasta and it was a disaster, overcooked and the sauce is just not fresh. the lasagna was mediocre and the farfalle with salmon wasn't fresh either salmon is frozen and dry and the sauce wasn't enough. overall, the ambiance is good and service was also nice but the food is horrible.

Orologio East Village Hidden Gem.
Grandma's old fashion Italian food at Orologio. The food at Orologio is diversed, old fashion and fresh Italian dishes. The wines are a variety of cheap wines to more expensive wines. I prefer their Amarone. Yes, you pay for it, but it's good. The selection of food is extraordinaire and exceptional. I had several parties at Orologio and I all my guest raved about the food and service. The weekends are crowded, so a reservation is recommended. The owner, Clemente, is always around to make sure all guests feel at home, comfortable and receive the best service. I know, since I go here for many and many years and will come back and back and back. Thank for you for all the good food and service Orologio staff.

Go For BRUNCH
I went here and got the vegetable omelette and it was HUGE and amazing.. it came with a mini salad and homefries, and the warm pita bread before the meal melts in your mouth. My boyfriend got eggs benedict and loved it. The value was ridiculous.... I've never been for here dinner... but if you are looking to get an AWESOME brunch, you should definitely go here.
