Too Pricey!
What happened to this place?? The dim sum was good, but it was way too pricey. Did they take us for tourists? Too bad. We've been there many times before, but this may very well be our last.........

Best Chinese food
Love this restaurant. Great food, especially the seafood dishes. The lobster country style is to die for, and the egg white seafood fried rice is Delicious! Also love the dim sum over the weekend too. The fried chive dumplings are amazing. One of my favorite restaurants of all time.

Great place
Enjoyed it, order off Dim Sum menu for cheap eats. You can't go wrong ESP crispy shrimp rolls and shark fin dumplings

Bad Timing
I've been to Oriental Garden twice, and the two experiences were alarmingly different. The first time the two of us arrived at around noon on a Saturday to a crosded restuarant; we were treated to the perfect array of dim sum, including some lovely and unusual dishes. Yesterday, my friend and I arrived at around 3:00 on President's Day, and the place was pretty empty. I asked specifically if they were still serving dim sum, and the head man said yes. What followed was a series of unconscionable disasters: gummy dough on all shu mai, ice cold stuffed eggplant and pan-fried dumplings, etc. This is supposed to be one of the premier dim sum houses in lower Chinatown, but they should be ashamed: better to close between 2:00 and 5:00, and not try to foist off leftovers (or garbage) on patrons.

Hmm... This IS Good Chinese Cuisine!!
The seafood dishes and dim sum dishes cannot be beat! We love this place for its delicate yet flavourful taste in every bite. Prices are on the high side, but it's worth every cent :)

Probably the best in c-town
While there are a number of excellent choices in Chinatown, this place seems to be a notch above the rest. With the freshest of fish and seafood choices (get the whole steamed flounder or the razor clams; if you're adventurous, get the geoduck clam if they have it available), you really can't go wrong. They also do an excellent dim sum on weekends, but the lines can be long as the secret is clearly out about this place.

My Favorite Chinese Restaurant
Oriental Garden serves delicious chinese food. Great seafood dishes, like the Hometown Lobster and the deep fried Sole to great dim sum and noodles, etc... are the norm here. There is nothing I haven't enjoyed here. The only drawback to this restaurant are the mean waitresses. The hosts and waiters are all generally kind and accommodating, but their two waitresses are quite unpleasant. It doesn't deter me from going back again and again, because the food is consistently great.
